Psalm 25
NET Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
NET BibleNew International Version
By David. O LORD, I come before you in prayer. 1Of David. In you, LORD my God, I put my trust.
My God, I trust in you. Please do not let me be humiliated; do not let my enemies triumphantly rejoice over me! 2I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.
Certainly none who rely on you will be humiliated. Those who deal in treachery will be thwarted and humiliated. 3No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause.
Make me understand your ways, O LORD! Teach me your paths! 4Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths.
Guide me into your truth and teach me. For you are the God who delivers me; on you I rely all day long. 5Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
Remember your compassionate and faithful deeds, O LORD, for you have always acted in this manner. 6Remember, LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old.
Do not hold against me the sins of my youth or my rebellious acts! Because you are faithful to me, extend to me your favor, O LORD! 7Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, LORD, are good.
The LORD is both kind and fair; that is why he teaches sinners the right way to live. 8Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
May he show the humble what is right! May he teach the humble his way! 9He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.
The LORD always proves faithful and reliable to those who follow the demands of his covenant. 10All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.
For the sake of your reputation, O LORD, forgive my sin, because it is great. 11For the sake of your name, LORD, forgive my iniquity, though it is great.
The LORD shows his faithful followers the way they should live. 12Who, then, are those who fear the LORD? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.
They experience his favor; their descendants inherit the land. 13They will spend their days in prosperity, and their descendants will inherit the land.
The LORD's loyal followers receive his guidance, and he reveals his covenantal demands to them. 14The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.
I continually look to the LORD for help, for he will free my feet from the enemy's net. 15My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare.
Turn toward me and have mercy on me, for I am alone and oppressed! 16Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
Deliver me from my distress; rescue me from my suffering! 17Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish.
See my pain and suffering! Forgive all my sins! 18Look on my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins.
Watch my enemies, for they outnumber me; they hate me and want to harm me. 19See how numerous are my enemies and how fiercely they hate me!
Protect me and deliver me! Please do not let me be humiliated, for I have taken shelter in you! 20Guard my life and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
May integrity and godliness protect me, for I rely on you! 21May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, LORD, is in you.
O God, rescue Israel from all their distress! 22Deliver Israel, O God, from all their troubles!
