1Not to us, LORD, not to us, but to your name be given glory on account of your gracious love and faithfulness.1לֹ֤א לָ֥נוּ יְהוָ֗ה לֹ֫א לָ֥נוּ כִּֽי־ לְ֭שִׁמְךָ תֵּ֣ן כָּב֑וֹד עַל־ חַ֝סְדְּךָ֗ עַל־ אֲמִתֶּֽךָ׃
2Why should the nations ask "Where now is their God?"2לָ֭מָּה יֹאמְר֣וּ הַגּוֹיִ֑ם אַיֵּה־ נָ֝֗א אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃
3when our God is in the heavens and he does whatever he desires?3וֵֽאלֹהֵ֥ינוּ בַשָּׁמָ֑יִם כֹּ֭ל אֲשֶׁר־ חָפֵ֣ץ עָשָֽׂה׃
4Their idols are silver and gold, crafted by human hands.4עֲ‍ֽ֭צַבֵּיהֶם כֶּ֣סֶף וְזָהָ֑ב מַ֝עֲשֵׂ֗ה יְדֵ֣י אָדָֽם׃
5They have mouths, but cannot speak; they have eyes, but cannot see.5פֶּֽה־ לָ֭הֶם וְלֹ֣א יְדַבֵּ֑רוּ עֵינַ֥יִם לָ֝הֶ֗ם וְלֹ֣א יִרְאֽוּ׃
6They have ears, but cannot hear; they have noses, but cannot smell.6אָזְנַ֣יִם לָ֭הֶם וְלֹ֣א יִשְׁמָ֑עוּ אַ֥ף לָ֝הֶ֗ם וְלֹ֣א יְרִיחֽוּן׃
7They have hands, but cannot touch; feet, but cannot walk; they cannot even groan with their throats.7יְדֵיהֶ֤ם ׀ וְלֹ֬א יְמִישׁ֗וּן רַ֭גְלֵיהֶם וְלֹ֣א יְהַלֵּ֑כוּ לֹֽא־ יֶ֝הְגּ֗וּ בִּגְרוֹנָֽם׃
8Those who craft them will become like them, as will all those who trust in them.8כְּ֭מוֹהֶם יִהְי֣וּ עֹשֵׂיהֶ֑ם כֹּ֭ל אֲשֶׁר־ בֹּטֵ֣חַ בָּהֶֽם׃
9Israel, trust in the LORD! He is their helper and shield.9יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל בְּטַ֣ח בַּיהוָ֑ה עֶזְרָ֖ם וּמָגִנָּ֣ם הֽוּא׃
10House of Aaron, trust in the LORD! He is their helper and shield.10בֵּ֣ית אַ֭הֲרֹן בִּטְח֣וּ בַיהוָ֑ה עֶזְרָ֖ם וּמָגִנָּ֣ם הֽוּא׃
11You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their helper and shield.11יִרְאֵ֣י יְ֭הוָה בִּטְח֣וּ בַיהוָ֑ה עֶזְרָ֖ם וּמָגִנָּ֣ם הֽוּא׃
12The LORD remembers and blesses us. He will indeed bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.12יְהוָה֮ זְכָרָ֪נוּ יְבָ֫רֵ֥ךְ יְ֭בָרֵךְ אֶת־ בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל יְ֝בָרֵ֗ךְ אֶת־ בֵּ֥ית אַהֲרֹֽן׃
13He will bless those who fear the LORD, both the important and the insignificant together.13יְ֭בָרֵךְ יִרְאֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה הַ֝קְּטַנִּ֗ים עִם־ הַגְּדֹלִֽים׃
14May the LORD add to your numbers— to you and to your descendants.14יֹסֵ֣ף יְהוָ֣ה עֲלֵיכֶ֑ם עֲ֝לֵיכֶ֗ם וְעַל־ בְּנֵיכֶֽם׃
15May you be blessed by the LORD, who made the heavens and the earth.15בְּרוּכִ֣ים אַ֭תֶּם לַיהוָ֑ה עֹ֝שֵׂ֗ה שָׁמַ֥יִם וָאָֽרֶץ׃
16The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but he gave the earth to human beings.16הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם שָׁ֭מַיִם לַיהוָ֑ה וְ֝הָאָ֗רֶץ נָתַ֥ן לִבְנֵי־ אָדָֽם׃
17Neither can the dead praise the LORD, nor those who go down into the silence of death. 17לֹ֣א הַ֭מֵּתִים יְהַֽלְלוּ־ יָ֑הּ וְ֝לֹ֗א כָּל־ יֹרְדֵ֥י דוּמָֽה׃
18But we will bless the LORD from now to eternity. Hallelujah!18וַאֲנַ֤חְנוּ ׀ נְבָ֘רֵ֤ךְ יָ֗הּ מֵֽעַתָּ֥ה וְעַד־ עוֹלָ֗ם הַֽלְלוּ־ יָֽהּ׃
