| 16Even in Thessalonica you sent me help for my needs once and again. | 16For even while I was in Thessalonica, you provided for my needs again and again. |
| 17Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit. | 17Not that I am seeking a gift, but I am looking for the fruit that may be credited to your account. |
| 18I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. | 18I have all I need and more, now that I have received your gifts from Epaphroditus. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God. |
