…9For they themselves relate of us, what manner of entering in we had unto you: and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God. 10And to wait for his Son from heaven (whom he raised up from the dead), Jesus, who hath delivered us from the wrath to come.
And seeing many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them: Ye brood of vipers, who hath shewed you to flee from the wrath to come?
For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels: and then will he render to every man according to his works.
Amen I say to you, there are some of them that stand here, that shall not taste death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the sorrows of hell, as it was impossible that he should be holden by it.
This Jesus hath God raised again, whereof all we are witnesses.
Christ died for us. Much more therefore, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from wrath through him.
