Joshua 19:1-29 ▼

1 And the second lot came out for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon by their clans. And their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Judah.

2 And there was unto them in their inheritance Beersheba, and Sheba, and Moladah,

3 and Hazar-shual, and Balah, and Ezem,

4 and Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,

5 and Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,

6 and Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen—thirteen cities, and their villages.

7 Ain, Rimmon, and Ether, and Ashan—four cities and their villages,

8 and all the villages that were all around these cities as far as Baalath-beer (Ramah of the Negev). this was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon by their clans.

9 From the portion of the sons of Judah was the inheritance of the sons of Simeon, for the portion of the sons of Judah was too much for them. And the sons of Simeon inherited in the midst of their inheritance.

10 And the third lot came up for the sons of Zebulun by their clans. And the border of their inheritance was as far as Sarid.

11 And their border went toward the west, and to Maralah, and it went to Dabbasheth, and extended along the brook that is upon the face of Jokneam.

12 And it went from Sarid eastward toward the rising of the sun along the border of Chisloth-tabor, and it went out toward Daberath, and went up to Japhia,

13 and from there it passed over eastward to the east to Gath-hepher, and to Eth-kazin, and extended to Rimmon and curved to Neah;

14 and the border went around it on the north side of Hannathon, and its outgoing was in the Valley of Iphtah-el,

15 and Kattath, and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Bethlehem—twelve cities, and their villages.

16 This was the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun by their clans, these cities and their villages.

17 To Issachar the fourth lot came out for the sons of Issachar by their clans.

18 And their territory went to Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

19 and Haphraim, and Shion, and Anaharath,

20 and Rabbith, and Kishion, and Ebez,

21 and Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez.

22 And the border reached to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh, and ended their border at the Jordan—sixteen cities, and their villages.

23 This was the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Issachar by their clans—the cities and their villages.

24 And the fifth lot came out for the tribe of the sons of Asher by their clans.

25 And their territory included Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,

26 and Allammelech, and Amad, and Mishal; and it reached to Carmel westward, and to Shihor-libnath;

27 and it turned eastward toward the sunrise to Beth-dagon, and it reached to Zebulun, and to the Valley of Iphtah-el, and went north to Beth-emek and Neiel, and it went out to Cabul on the left,

28 and Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon.

29 And the border turned to Ramah, and to the fortified city Tyre. And the border turned to Hosah, and its outgoings were at the sea by the region of Achzib.
