20 Behold, I am sending an angel before your face to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared. 21 Be guarded from his face and listen to his voice; do not rebel against him, for he will not pardon your? transgressions, for My name is within him. 22 But if you will listen carefully to his voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries. 23 For My angel will go before your faces and bring you in to the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Canaanite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite; and I will cut them off. 24 You shall not bow down to their gods, and you shall not serve them, and you shall not do according to their works; for you must utterly demolish them and thoroughly break to pieces their pillars. 25 And you? shall serve YHWH your? God, and He will bless your bread and your water, and I will take away sickness from among you. 26 There will be no one miscarrying or barren in your land; the number of your days I will fulfill. 27 My terror I will send before your faces, and I will confuse all the people among whom you come in; and I will give the neck of all your enemies to you. 28 And I will send the hornet before your faces, and it shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite from before your faces. 29 I will not drive them out from before your faces in one year, lest the land become desolate and the beast of the field become too numerous for you. 30 Little by little I will drive them out from before your faces, until that you are fruitful and you take possession of the land. 31 And I will set your border from the Red Sea and to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the River. For I will give into your? hands those dwelling in the land, and you shall drive them out from before your faces. 32 You shall not cut a covenant with them or with their gods. 33 They shall not dwell in your land, lest they cause you to sin against Me. For if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.” Exodus 23:20-33, Berean Literal Bible. Public domain.
