7 As John’s disciples were leaving, Jesus (YHWH saves) began to speak to the crowds about John (YHWH is gracious): “What did you⁺ go out into the wilderness (solitary place) to see? 10 This is the one about whom it is written: ‘Behold, I will send My messenger (angel) ahead of You, who will prepare Your way before You .’ This is he of whom it is written, “‘Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.’ This is the one about whom it is written: “’I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.’
11 Truly I tell you⁺, among those born of women there has risen no one greater than John (YHWH is gracious) the Baptist. Yet even the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
12 From the days of John (YHWH is gracious) the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subject to violence (has been forcefully advancing), and the violent lay claim to it. From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force. From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it.

16 To what can I compare this generation? They are like children sitting in the marketplaces (town square) and calling out to others: “But to what shall I compare this generation? 20 Then Jesus began to denounce the cities in which most of His miracles {dynameis} had been performed, because they did not repent. 21 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida (fishing house)! For if the miracles {dynameis} that were performed in you⁺ had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
22 But I tell you⁺, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you⁺. But I tell you, it will be more bearable on the day of judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you. But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.
23 And you, Capernaum (village of comfort), will you be lifted up to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades! For if the miracles {dynameis} that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day. And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You will be brought down to Hades. For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted to the heavens? No, you will go down to Hades. For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day.
24 But I tell you⁺ that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you. But I tell you that it will be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom than for you.” But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.”
25 At that time Jesus (YHWH saves) declared, “I praise You, Father {Pater}, Lord {Kyrie} of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed (uncovered) them to little children. At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.
26 Yes, Father {Patēr}, for this was well-pleasing in Your sight. yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.
27 All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father {Patēr}, and no one knows the Father {Patera} except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him. All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. “All things have been committed to me by my Father.
