1 And again, he entered into the synagogue. And there was a man there who had a withered hand. Again he entered the synagogue, and a man was there with a withered hand. Another time Jesus went into the synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there.
2 And they observed him, to see if he would cure on the Sabbaths, so that they might accuse him. And they watched Jesus, to see whether he would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse him. Some of them were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath.
3 And he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Stand up in the middle.” And he said to the man with the withered hand, “Come here.” Jesus said to the man with the shriveled hand, “Stand up in front of everyone.”
4 And he said to them: “Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbaths, or to do evil, to give health to a life, or to destroy?” But they remained silent. And he said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do harm, to save life or to kill?” But they were silent. Then Jesus asked them, “Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they remained silent.
5 And looking around at them with anger, being very saddened over the blindness of their hearts, he said to the man, “Extend your hand.” And he extended it, and his hand was restored to him. And he looked around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, and said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored. He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored.
6 Then the Pharisees, going out, immediately took counsel with the Herodians against him, as to how they might destroy him. The Pharisees went out and immediately held counsel with the Herodians against him, how to destroy him. Then the Pharisees went out and began to plot with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus.

9 And he told his disciples that a small boat would be useful to him, because of the crowd, lest they press upon him. And he told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, lest they crush him, Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him.
10 For he healed so many, that as many of them as had wounds would rush toward him in order to touch him. for he had healed many, so that all who had diseases pressed around him to touch him. For he had healed many, so that those with diseases were pushing forward to touch him.
11 And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell prostrate before him. And they cried out, saying, And whenever the unclean spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.” Whenever the impure spirits saw him, they fell down before him and cried out, “You are the Son of God.”
12 “You are the Son of God.” And he strongly admonished them, lest they make him known. And he strictly ordered them not to make him known. But he gave them strict orders not to tell others about him.
13 And ascending onto a mountain, he called to himself those whom he willed, and they came to him. And he went up on the mountain and called to him those whom he desired, and they came to him. Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him.
14 And he acted so that the twelve would be with him, and so that he might send them out to preach. And he appointed twelve (whom he also named apostles) so that they might be with him and he might send them out to preach He appointed twelve that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach
15 And he gave them authority to cure infirmities, and to cast out demons: and have authority to cast out demons. and to have authority to drive out demons.
16 and he imposed on Simon the name Peter; He appointed the twelve: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter); These are the twelve he appointed: Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter),

18 and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite, Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Zealot, Andrew, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Thaddaeus, Simon the Zealot

20 And they went to a house, and the crowd gathered together again, so much so that they were not even able to eat bread. Then he went home, and the crowd gathered again, so that they could not even eat. Then Jesus entered a house, and again a crowd gathered, so that he and his disciples were not even able to eat.
21 And when his own had heard of it, they went out to take hold of him. For they said: “Because he has gone mad.” And when his family heard it, they went out to seize him, for they were saying, “He is out of his mind.” When his family heard about this, they went to take charge of him, for they said, “He is out of his mind.”
22 And the scribes who had descended from Jerusalem said, “Because he has Beelzebub, and because by the prince of demons does he cast out demons.” And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem were saying, “He is possessed by Beelzebul,” and “by the prince of demons he casts out the demons.” And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said, “He is possessed by Beelzebul! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons.”
23 And having called them together, he spoke to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan? And he called them to him and said to them in parables, “How can Satan cast out Satan? So Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan?
24 For if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom is not able to stand. If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house is not able to stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
26 And if Satan has risen up against himself, he would be divided, and he would not be able to stand; instead he reaches the end. And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand, but is coming to an end. And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come.
27 No one is able to plunder the goods of a strong man, having entered into the house, unless he first binds the strong man, and then he shall plunder his house. But no one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. Then indeed he may plunder his house. In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house.
28 Amen I say to you, that all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies by which they will have blasphemed. “Truly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the children of man, and whatever blasphemies they utter, Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter,
29 But he who will have blasphemed against the Holy Spirit shall not have forgiveness in eternity; instead he shall be guilty of an eternal offense.” but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”— but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.”
30 For they said: “He has an unclean spirit.” for they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.” He said this because they were saying, “He has an impure spirit.”
31 And his mother and brothers arrived. And standing outside, they sent to him, calling him. And his mother and his brothers came, and standing outside they sent to him and called him. Then Jesus’ mother and brothers arrived. Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him.
32 And the crowd was sitting around him. And they said to him, “Behold, your mother and your brothers are outside, seeking you.” And a crowd was sitting around him, and they said to him, “Your mother and your brothers are outside, seeking you.” A crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, “Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you.”
33 And responding to them, he said, “Who is my mother and my brothers?” And he answered them, “Who are my mother and my brothers?” “Who are my mother and my brothers?” he asked.
34 And looking around at those who were sitting all around him, he said: “Behold, my mother and my brothers. And looking about at those who sat around him, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers! Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers!
35 For whoever has done the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister and mother.” For whoever does the will of God, he is my brother and sister and mother.” Whoever does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.”
