1 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber. “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber. “Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.
2 But he who enters by the door is a shepherd of the sheep. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. To him the gatekeeper opens. 4 When he brings all his own out, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. 6 This figure of speech Jesus spoke to them, but they did not understand what those things were which He had been saying to them. 9 I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. 12 He who is a hired hand, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep and flees—and the wolf snatches and scatters them— He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them. The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it.

15 even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 And I have other sheep, which are not from this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd. And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
17 For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again. For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again. The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again.
18 No one takes it away from Me, but from Myself, I lay it down. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father.” No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.” No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. 19 A division occurred again among the Jews because of these words. There was again a division among the Jews because of these words. The Jews who heard these words were again divided.
20 And many of them were saying, “He has a demon and is insane. Why do you listen to Him?” Many of them said, “He has a demon, and is insane; why listen to him?” Many of them said, “He is demon-possessed and raving mad. Why listen to him?”
21 Others were saying, “These are not the words of someone demon-possessed. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?” Others said, “These are not the words of one who is oppressed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?” But others said, “These are not the sayings of a man possessed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”

25 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father’s name, these bear witness of Me. Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name bear witness about me, Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me,
26 But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. but you do not believe because you are not among my sheep. but you do not believe because you are not my sheep.
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
28 and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish—ever; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.
29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

32 Jesus answered them, “I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?” Jesus answered them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you going to stone me?” but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”
33 The Jews answered Him, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself God.” The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God.” “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”
34 Jesus answered them, “Has it not been written in your Law, ‘I SAID, YOU ARE GODS’? Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I said, you are gods’? Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods|’?
35 If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), If he called them gods to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be broken— If he called them ‘gods,’ to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be set aside—
36 do you say of Him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? do you say of him whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?
37 If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father.
38 but if I do them, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you may know and continue knowing that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father.” but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.” But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.”
39 Therefore they were seeking again to seize Him, and He eluded their grasp. Again they sought to arrest him, but he escaped from their hands. Again they tried to seize him, but he escaped their grasp.
40 And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was first baptizing, and He was staying there. He went away again across the Jordan to the place where John had been baptizing at first, and there he remained. Then Jesus went back across the Jordan to the place where John had been baptizing in the early days. There he stayed,
41 And many came to Him and were saying, “While John did no sign, yet everything John said about this man was true.” And many came to him. And they said, “John did no sign, but everything that John said about this man was true.” and many people came to him. They said, “Though John never performed a sign, all that John said about this man was true.”
42 And many believed in Him there. And many believed in him there. And in that place many believed in Jesus.
