31	And these were the men whom David set over the service of the singers in the house of the Lord when the ark was at rest.	These are the men whom David put in charge of the service of song in the house of the LORD after the ark rested there.	These are the men David put in charge of the music in the house of the LORD after the ark came to rest there.
32	And they ministered in front of the tabernacle of witness playing on instruments, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they stood according to their order for their services.	They ministered with song before the tabernacle of the tent of meeting until Solomon built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem, and they performed their service according to their order.	They ministered with music before the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, until Solomon built the temple of the LORD in Jerusalem. They performed their duties according to the regulations laid down for them.
33	And these were the men that stood, and their sons, of the sons of Caath: Aeman the psalm singer, son of Joel, the son of Samuel,	These are the men who served and their sons. 48	And their brethren according to the houses of their fathers, were the Levites who were appointed to all the work of ministration of the tabernacle of the house of God.	And their brothers the Levites were appointed for all the service of the tabernacle of the house of God.	Their fellow Levites were assigned to all the other duties of the tabernacle, the house of God.
49	And Aaron and his sons were to burn incense on the altar of whole-burnt-offerings, and on the altar of incense, for all the ministry in the holy of holies, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all things that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded.	But Aaron and his sons made offerings on the altar of burnt offering and on the altar of incense for all the work of the Most Holy Place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.	But Aaron and his descendants were the ones who presented offerings on the altar of burnt offering and on the altar of incense in connection with all that was done in the Most Holy Place, making atonement for Israel, in accordance with all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
50	And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinees his son, Abisu his son,	These are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,	These were the descendants of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

54	And these are their residences in their villages, in their coasts, to the sons of Aaron, to their family the Caathites: for they had the lot.	These are their dwelling places according to their settlements within their borders: to the sons of Aaron of the clans of Kohathites, for theirs was the first lot,	These were the locations of their settlements allotted as their territory (they were assigned to the descendants of Aaron who were from the Kohathite clan, because the first lot was for them):
55	And they gave them Chebron in the land of Juda, and its suburbs round about it.	to them they gave Hebron in the land of Judah and its surrounding pasturelands,	They were given Hebron in Judah with its surrounding pasturelands.
56	But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Chaleb the son of Jephonne.	but the fields of the city and its villages they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.	But the fields and villages around the city were given to Caleb son of Jephunneh.
57	And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge, even Chebron, and Lobna and her suburbs round about, and Selna and her suburbs, and Esthamo and her suburbs,	To the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge: Hebron, Libnah with its pasturelands, Jattir, Eshtemoa with its pasturelands,	So the descendants of Aaron were given Hebron (a city of refuge), and Libnah, Jattir, Eshtemoa,
58	and Jethar and her suburbs, and Dabir and her suburbs,	Hilen with its pasturelands, Debir with its pasturelands,	Hilen, Debir,
59	and Asan and her suburbs, and Baethsamys and her suburbs:	Ashan with its pasturelands, and Beth-shemesh with its pasturelands;	Ashan, Juttah and Beth Shemesh, together with their pasturelands.
60	and of the tribe of Benjamin Gabai and her suburbs, and Galemath and her suburbs, and Anathoth and her suburbs: all their cities were thirteen cities according to their families.	and from the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon, Geba with its pasturelands, Alemeth with its pasturelands, and Anathoth with its pasturelands. All their cities throughout their clans were thirteen.	And from the tribe of Benjamin they were given Gibeon, Geba, Alemeth and Anathoth, together with their pasturelands. The total number of towns distributed among the Kohathite clans came to thirteen.
61	And to the sons of Caath that were left of their families, there were given out of the tribe, namely , out of the half-tribe of Manasse, by lot, ten cities.	To the rest of the Kohathites were given by lot out of the clan of the tribe, out of the half-tribe, the half of Manasseh, ten cities.	The rest of Kohath’s descendants were allotted ten towns from the clans of half the tribe of Manasseh.
62	And to the sons of Gedson according to their families there were given thirteen cities of the tribe of Issachar, of the tribe of Aser, of the tribe of Nephthali, of the tribe of Manasse in Basan.	To the Gershomites according to their clans were allotted thirteen cities out of the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali and Manasseh in Bashan.	The descendants of Gershon, clan by clan, were allotted thirteen towns from the tribes of Issachar, Asher and Naphtali, and from the part of the tribe of Manasseh that is in Bashan.
63	And to the sons of Merari according to their families there were given , by lot, twelve cities of the tribe of Ruben, of the tribe of Gad, and of the tribe of Zabulon.	To the Merarites according to their clans were allotted twelve cities out of the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.	The descendants of Merari, clan by clan, were allotted twelve towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad and Zebulun.
64	So the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their suburbs.	So the people of Israel gave the Levites the cities with their pasturelands.	So the Israelites gave the Levites these towns and their pasturelands.
65	And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Juda, and out of the tribe of the children of Symeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which they call by name.	They gave by lot out of the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin these cities that are mentioned by name.	From the tribes of Judah, Simeon and Benjamin they allotted the previously named towns.
66	And to the members of the families of the sons of Caath there were also given the cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.	And some of the clans of the sons of Kohath had cities of their territory out of the tribe of Ephraim.	Some of the Kohathite clans were given as their territory towns from the tribe of Ephraim.
67	And they gave them the cities of refuge, Sychem and her suburbs in mount Ephraim, and Gazer and her suburbs,	They were given the cities of refuge: Shechem with its pasturelands in the hill country of Ephraim, Gezer with its pasturelands,	In the hill country of Ephraim they were given Shechem (a city of refuge), and Gezer,
68	and Jecmaan and her suburbs, and Baethoron and her suburbs,	Jokmeam with its pasturelands, Beth-horon with its pasturelands,	Jokmeam, Beth Horon,
69	and Aelon and her suburbs, and Gethremmon and her suburbs:	Aijalon with its pasturelands, Gath-rimmon with its pasturelands,	Aijalon and Gath Rimmon, together with their pasturelands.
70	and of the half-tribe of Manasse Anar and her suburbs, and Jemblaan and her suburbs, to the sons of Caath that were left, according to each several family.	and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Aner with its pasturelands, and Bileam with its pasturelands, for the rest of the clans of the Kohathites.	And from half the tribe of Manasseh the Israelites gave Aner and Bileam, together with their pasturelands, to the rest of the Kohathite clans.
71	To the sons of Gedson from the families of the half-tribe of Manasse they gave Golan of Basan and her suburbs, and Aseroth and her suburbs.	To the Gershomites were given out of the clan of the half-tribe of Manasseh: Golan in Bashan with its pasturelands and Ashtaroth with its pasturelands;	The Gershonites received the following: From the clan of the half-tribe of Manasseh they received Golan in Bashan and also Ashtaroth, together with their pasturelands;
72	And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedes and her suburbs, and Deberi and her suburbs, and Dabor and her suburbs,	and out of the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh with its pasturelands, Daberath with its pasturelands,	from the tribe of Issachar they received Kedesh, Daberath,
73	and Ramoth, and Aenan and her suburbs.	Ramoth with its pasturelands, and Anem with its pasturelands;	Ramoth and Anem, together with their pasturelands;
74	And of the tribe of Aser; Maasal and her suburbs, and Abdon and her suburbs,	out of the tribe of Asher: Mashal with its pasturelands, Abdon with its pasturelands,	from the tribe of Asher they received Mashal, Abdon,
75	and Acac and her suburbs, and Roob and her suburbs.	Hukok with its pasturelands, and Rehob with its pasturelands;	Hukok and Rehob, together with their pasturelands;
76	And of the tribe of Nephthali; Kedes in Galilee and her suburbs, and Chamoth and her suburbs, and Kariathaim and her suburbs.	and out of the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee with its pasturelands, Hammon with its pasturelands, and Kiriathaim with its pasturelands.	and from the tribe of Naphtali they received Kedesh in Galilee, Hammon and Kiriathaim, together with their pasturelands.
77	To the sons of Merari that were left, they gave out of the tribe of Zabulon Remmon and her suburbs, and Thabor and her suburbs:	To the rest of the Merarites were allotted out of the tribe of Zebulun: Rimmono with its pasturelands, Tabor with its pasturelands,	The Merarites (the rest of the Levites) received the following: From the tribe of Zebulun they received Jokneam, Kartah, Rimmono and Tabor, together with their pasturelands;
78	out of the country beyond Jordan; Jericho westward of Jordan: out of the tribe of Ruben; Bosor in the wilderness and her suburbs, and Jasa and her suburbs,	and beyond the Jordan at Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, out of the tribe of Reuben: Bezer in the wilderness with its pasturelands, Jahzah with its pasturelands,	from the tribe of Reuben across the Jordan east of Jericho they received Bezer in the wilderness, Jahzah,
79	and Kadmoth and her suburbs, and Maephla and her suburbs.	Kedemoth with its pasturelands, and Mephaath with its pasturelands;	Kedemoth and Mephaath, together with their pasturelands;
80	Out of the tribe of Gad; Rammoth Galaad and her suburbs, and Maanaim and her suburbs,	and out of the tribe of Gad: Ramoth in Gilead with its pasturelands, Mahanaim with its pasturelands,	and from the tribe of Gad they received Ramoth in Gilead, Mahanaim,
