49	Truly, Aaron and his sons were burning offerings upon the altar of holocausts and upon the altar of incense, for the entire work of the Holy of Holies, and to pray on behalf of Israel, in accord with all the things that Moses, the servant of God, had instructed.	But Aaron and his sons made offerings on the altar of burnt offering and on the altar of incense for all the work of the Most Holy Place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.	But Aaron and his descendants were the ones who presented offerings on the altar of burnt offering and on the altar of incense in connection with all that was done in the Most Holy Place, making atonement for Israel, in accordance with all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

These are their dwelling places according to their settlements within their borders: to the sons of Aaron of the clans of Kohathites, for theirs was the first lot,	These were the locations of their settlements allotted as their territory (they were assigned to the descendants of Aaron who were from the Kohathite clan, because the first lot was for them):
55	And so, they gave Hebron, in the land of Judah, and its suburbs all around, to them,	to them they gave Hebron in the land of Judah and its surrounding pasturelands,	They were given Hebron in Judah with its surrounding pasturelands.
56	but they gave the fields of the city, and the villages, to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh.	but the fields of the city and its villages they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.	But the fields and villages around the city were given to Caleb son of Jephunneh.
57	Then, to the sons of Aaron, they gave the cities of refuge: Hebron, and Libnah with its suburbs,	To the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge: Hebron, Libnah with its pasturelands, Jattir, Eshtemoa with its pasturelands,	So the descendants of Aaron were given Hebron (a city of refuge), and Libnah, Jattir, Eshtemoa,

59	as well as Ashan and Beth-shemesh with their suburbs.	Ashan with its pasturelands, and Beth-shemesh with its pasturelands;	Ashan, Juttah and Beth Shemesh, together with their pasturelands.
60	And from the tribe of Benjamin: Geba with its suburbs, and Alemeth with its suburbs, as well as Anathoth with its suburbs. All the cities throughout their kindred were thirteen.	and from the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon, Geba with its pasturelands, Alemeth with its pasturelands, and Anathoth with its pasturelands. All their cities throughout their clans were thirteen.	And from the tribe of Benjamin they were given Gibeon, Geba, Alemeth and Anathoth, together with their pasturelands. The total number of towns distributed among the Kohathite clans came to thirteen.
61	Now to the sons of Kohath, those remaining from their kindred, they gave ten cities, from the one half tribe of Manasseh, as a possession;	To the rest of the Kohathites were given by lot out of the clan of the tribe, out of the half-tribe, the half of Manasseh, ten cities.	The rest of Kohath’s descendants were allotted ten towns from the clans of half the tribe of Manasseh.
62	and to the sons of Gershom, according to their families, from the tribe of Issachar, and from the tribe of Asher, and from the tribe of Naphtali, and from the tribe Manasseh in Bashan: thirteen cities.	To the Gershomites according to their clans were allotted thirteen cities out of the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali and Manasseh in Bashan.	The descendants of Gershon, clan by clan, were allotted thirteen towns from the tribes of Issachar, Asher and Naphtali, and from the part of the tribe of Manasseh that is in Bashan.
63	Then to the sons of Merari, according to their families, from the tribe of Reuben, and from the tribe of Gad, and from the tribe of Zebulun, they gave by lot twelve cities.	To the Merarites according to their clans were allotted twelve cities out of the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.	The descendants of Merari, clan by clan, were allotted twelve towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad and Zebulun.
64	Also, the sons of Israel gave, to the Levites, cities and their suburbs,	So the people of Israel gave the Levites the cities with their pasturelands.	So the Israelites gave the Levites these towns and their pasturelands.
65	and they gave them by lot, out of the tribe of the sons of Judah, and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, these cities, which they called by their names.	They gave by lot out of the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin these cities that are mentioned by name.	From the tribes of Judah, Simeon and Benjamin they allotted the previously named towns.
66	And for those who were from the kindred of the sons of Kohath, the cities with their borders were from the tribe of Ephraim.	And some of the clans of the sons of Kohath had cities of their territory out of the tribe of Ephraim.	Some of the Kohathite clans were given as their territory towns from the tribe of Ephraim.
67	Then they gave to them the cities of refuge: Shechem with its suburbs on mount Ephraim, and Gezer with its suburbs,	They were given the cities of refuge: Shechem with its pasturelands in the hill country of Ephraim, Gezer with its pasturelands,	In the hill country of Ephraim they were given Shechem (a city of refuge), and Gezer,

70	Then too, out of the one half tribe of Manasseh: Aner and its suburbs, Bileam and its suburbs; these in particular went to those who were remaining from the kindred of the sons of Kohath.	and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Aner with its pasturelands, and Bileam with its pasturelands, for the rest of the clans of the Kohathites.	And from half the tribe of Manasseh the Israelites gave Aner and Bileam, together with their pasturelands, to the rest of the Kohathite clans.
71	And to the sons of Gershom, from the kindred of the one half tribe of Manasseh: Golan, in Bashan, and its suburbs, and Ashtaroth with its suburbs;	To the Gershomites were given out of the clan of the half-tribe of Manasseh: Golan in Bashan with its pasturelands and Ashtaroth with its pasturelands;	The Gershonites received the following: From the clan of the half-tribe of Manasseh they received Golan in Bashan and also Ashtaroth, together with their pasturelands;
