1The descendants of Adam were Seth, Enosh,

3Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech,

3who fathered Enoch, who fathered Methuselah, who fathered Lamech,

4and Noah. The sons of Noah were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Descendants of Japheth
