And the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,1The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron:
“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When any man has a discharge from his body, his discharge is unclean.2"Speak to the Israelites and tell them, 'When any man has a discharge from his body, his discharge is unclean.
And this shall be his uncleanness in regard to his discharge—whether his body runs with his discharge, or his body is stopped up by his discharge, it is his uncleanness.3Now this is his uncleanness in regard to his discharge--whether his body secretes his discharge or blocks his discharge, he is unclean. All the days that his body has a discharge or his body blocks his discharge, this is his uncleanness.
Every bed is unclean on which he who has the discharge lies, and everything on which he sits shall be unclean.4"'Any bed the man with a discharge lies on will be unclean, and any furniture he sits on will be unclean.
And whoever touches his bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.5Anyone who touches his bed must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
He who sits on anything on which he who has the discharge sat shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.6The one who sits on the furniture the man with a discharge sits on must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
And he who touches the body of him who has the discharge shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.7The one who touches the body of the man with a discharge must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
If he who has the discharge spits on him who is clean, then he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.8If the man with a discharge spits on a person who is ceremonially clean, that person must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
Any saddle on which he who has the discharge rides shall be unclean.9Any means of riding the man with a discharge rides on will be unclean.
Whoever touches anything that was under him shall be unclean until evening. He who carries any of those things shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.10Anyone who touches anything that was under him will be unclean until evening, and the one who carries those items must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
And whomever the one who has the discharge touches, and has not rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.11Anyone whom the man with the discharge touches without having rinsed his hands in water must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
The vessel of earth that he who has the discharge touches shall be broken, and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.12A clay vessel which the man with the discharge touches must be broken, and any wooden utensil must be rinsed in water.
‘And when he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he shall count for himself seven days for his cleansing, wash his clothes, and bathe his body in running water; then he shall be clean.13"'When the man with the discharge becomes clean from his discharge he is to count off for himself seven days for his purification, and he must wash his clothes, bathe in fresh water, and be clean.
On the eighth day he shall take for himself two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and give them to the priest.14Then on the eighth day he is to take for himself two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and he is to present himself before the LORD at the entrance of the Meeting Tent and give them to the priest,
Then the priest shall offer them, the one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. So the priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD because of his discharge.15and the priest is to make one of them a sin offering and the other a burnt offering. So the priest is to make atonement for him before the LORD for his discharge.
‘If any man has an emission of semen, then he shall wash all his body in water, and be unclean until evening.16"'When a man has a seminal emission, he must bathe his whole body in water and be unclean until evening,
And any garment and any leather on which there is semen, it shall be washed with water, and be unclean until evening.17and he must wash in water any clothing or leather that has semen on it, and it will be unclean until evening.
Also, when a woman lies with a man, and there is an emission of semen, they shall bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.18When a man has sexual intercourse with a woman and there is a seminal emission, they must bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
‘If a woman has a discharge, and the discharge from her body is blood, she shall be set apart seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening.19"'When a woman has a discharge and her discharge is blood from her body, she is to be in her menstruation seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean until evening.
Everything that she lies on during her impurity shall be unclean; also everything that she sits on shall be unclean.20Anything she lies on during her menstruation will be unclean, and anything she sits on will be unclean.
Whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.21Anyone who touches her bed must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
And whoever touches anything that she sat on shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.22Anyone who touches any furniture she sits on must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
If anything is on her bed or on anything on which she sits, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until evening.23If there is something on the bed or on the furniture she sits on, when he touches it he will be unclean until evening,
And if any man lies with her at all, so that her impurity is on him, he shall be unclean seven days; and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean.24and if a man actually has sexual intercourse with her so that her menstrual impurity touches him, then he will be unclean seven days and any bed he lies on will be unclean.
‘If a woman has a discharge of blood for many days, other than at the time of her customary impurity, or if it runs beyond her usual time of impurity, all the days of her unclean discharge shall be as the days of her customary impurity. She shall be unclean.25"'When a woman's discharge of blood flows many days not at the time of her menstruation, or if it flows beyond the time of her menstruation, all the days of her discharge of impurity will be like the days of her menstruation--she is unclean.
Every bed on which she lies all the days of her discharge shall be to her as the bed of her impurity; and whatever she sits on shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her impurity.26Any bed she lies on all the days of her discharge will be to her like the bed of her menstruation, any furniture she sits on will be unclean like the impurity of her menstruation,
Whoever touches those things shall be unclean; he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.27and anyone who touches them will be unclean, and he must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
‘But if she is cleansed of her discharge, then she shall count for herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.28"'If she becomes clean from her discharge, then she is to count off for herself seven days, and afterward she will be clean.
And on the eighth day she shall take for herself two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and bring them to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting.29Then on the eighth day she must take for herself two turtledoves or two young pigeons and she must bring them to the priest at the entrance of the Meeting Tent,
Then the priest shall offer the one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, and the priest shall make atonement for her before the LORD for the discharge of her uncleanness.30and the priest is to make one a sin offering and the other a burnt offering. So the priest is to make atonement for her before the LORD from her discharge of impurity.
‘Thus you shall separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness, lest they die in their uncleanness when they defile My tabernacle that is among them.31"'Thus you are to set the Israelites apart from their impurity so that they do not die in their impurity by defiling my tabernacle which is in their midst.
This is the law for one who has a discharge, and for him who emits semen and is unclean thereby,32This is the law of the one with a discharge: the one who has a seminal emission and becomes unclean by it,
and for her who is indisposed because of her customary impurity, and for one who has a discharge, either man or woman, and for him who lies with her who is unclean.’ ”33the one who is sick in her menstruation, the one with a discharge, whether male or female, and a man who has sexual intercourse with an unclean woman.'"
