NASB Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995New International Version
Praise the LORD! Praise the name of the LORD; Praise Him, O servants of the LORD,1Praise the LORD. Praise the name of the LORD; praise him, you servants of the LORD,
You who stand in the house of the LORD, In the courts of the house of our God!2you who minister in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.
Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good; Sing praises to His name, for it is lovely.3Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good; sing praise to his name, for that is pleasant.
For the LORD has chosen Jacob for Himself, Israel for His own possession.4For the LORD has chosen Jacob to be his own, Israel to be his treasured possession.
For I know that the LORD is great And that our Lord is above all gods.5I know that the LORD is great, that our Lord is greater than all gods.
Whatever the LORD pleases, He does, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps.6The LORD does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths.
He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who makes lightnings for the rain, Who brings forth the wind from His treasuries.7He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth; he sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.
He smote the firstborn of Egypt, Both of man and beast.8He struck down the firstborn of Egypt, the firstborn of people and animals.
He sent signs and wonders into your midst, O Egypt, Upon Pharaoh and all his servants.9He sent his signs and wonders into your midst, Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants.
He smote many nations And slew mighty kings,10He struck down many nations and killed mighty kings--
Sihon, king of the Amorites, And Og, king of Bashan, And all the kingdoms of Canaan;11Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, and all the kings of Canaan--
And He gave their land as a heritage, A heritage to Israel His people.12and he gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to his people Israel.
Your name, O LORD, is everlasting, Your remembrance, O LORD, throughout all generations.13Your name, LORD, endures forever, your renown, LORD, through all generations.
For the LORD will judge His people And will have compassion on His servants.14For the LORD will vindicate his people and have compassion on his servants.
The idols of the nations are but silver and gold, The work of man's hands.15The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by human hands.
They have mouths, but they do not speak; They have eyes, but they do not see;16They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see.
They have ears, but they do not hear, Nor is there any breath at all in their mouths.17They have ears, but cannot hear, nor is there breath in their mouths.
Those who make them will be like them, Yes, everyone who trusts in them.18Those who make them will be like them, and so will all who trust in them.
O house of Israel, bless the LORD; O house of Aaron, bless the LORD;19All you Israelites, praise the LORD; house of Aaron, praise the LORD;
O house of Levi, bless the LORD; You who revere the LORD, bless the LORD.20house of Levi, praise the LORD; you who fear him, praise the LORD.
Blessed be the LORD from Zion, Who dwells in Jerusalem. Praise the LORD!21Praise be to the LORD from Zion, to him who dwells in Jerusalem. Praise the LORD.
