| 2You who stand in the house of the LORD, In the courts of the house of our God! | 2you who are standing in the LORD's Temple, in the courtyards of the house of our God. |
| 3Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good; Sing praises to His name, for it is lovely. | 3Praise the LORD, because the LORD is good; Sing to his name, for he is gracious. |
| 4For the LORD has chosen Jacob for Himself, Israel for His own possession. | 4It is Jacob whom the LORD chose for himself— Israel as his personal possession. |
| 5For I know that the LORD is great And that our Lord is above all gods. | 5Indeed, I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord surpasses all gods. |

| 18Those who make them will be like them, Yes, everyone who trusts in them. | 18Those who craft them— and all who trust in them— will become like them. |
