The LORD told Moses and Aaron, 1The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron: "
"Tell the Israelis that when a man has a discharge from his body, his discharge is unclean, 2Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When any man has a discharge from his body, he is unclean.
and this is the cause of his uncleanness—his discharge. Whether his body is releasing the discharge or his body has stopped the discharge, he's unclean. 3This is uncleanness of his discharge: Whether his body secretes the discharge or retains it, he is unclean. All the days that his body secretes or retains anything because of his discharge, he is unclean.
Every bed on which he lies down with the discharge is to be considered unclean, and every object on which he sits becomes unclean. 4Any bed the man with the discharge lies on will be unclean, and any furniture he sits on will be unclean.
Any person who touches his bed is to wash his garments and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening. 5Anyone who touches his bed is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
Whoever sits on any object on which the one with the discharge has sat is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.6Whoever sits on furniture that the man with the discharge was sitting on is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
"Whoever touches the body of someone with a discharge is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening. 7Whoever touches the body of the man with a discharge is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
Whoever has a discharge and spits on someone who is clean, then he is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.8If the man with the discharge spits on anyone who is clean, he is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
"Any saddle that anyone with a discharge rides on will become unclean. 9Any saddle the man with the discharge rides on will be unclean.
Whoever touches anything that was under him will be unclean until evening. Whoever carries these things is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.10Whoever touches anything that was under him will be unclean until evening, and whoever carries such things is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
"Anyone whom the one with the discharge touches without rinsing his hands with water is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening. 11If the man with the discharge touches anyone without first rinsing his hands in water, the person who was touched is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
The earthen vessel that the person with the discharge touches is to be broken in pieces, and every wooden vessel is to be rinsed with water."12Any clay pot that the man with the discharge touches must be broken, while any wooden utensil must be rinsed with water."
"When the one with the discharge is cleansed from his discharge, then he is to set aside for himself seven days for his cleansing. He is to wash his clothes and bathe with flowing water. Then he will be clean. 13When the man with the discharge has been cured of it, he is to count seven days for his cleansing, wash his clothes, and bathe his body in fresh water; he will be clean.
On the eighth day, he is to take for himself two turtledoves or two young doves, bring them to the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, and give them to the priest. 14He must take two turtledoves or two young pigeons on the eighth day, come before the LORD at the entrance to the tent of meeting, and give them to the priest.
Then the priest is to offer them—one for a sin offering and the other for a whole burnt offering. That's how the priest will make atonement for him in the LORD's presence regarding his discharge."15The priest is to sacrifice them, one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for him before the LORD because of his discharge."
"If a man has a seminal emission, he is to bathe his entire body with water and remain unclean until evening. 16When a man has an emission of semen, he is to bathe himself completely with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
Every garment (including leather) on which the semen is found is to be washed with water, and it will remain unclean until evening. 17Any clothing or leather on which there is an emission of semen must be washed with water, and it will remain unclean until evening.
When a man has sexual relations with a woman and the man releases semen, both are to bathe with water, and they will remain unclean until evening."18If a man sleeps with a woman and has an emission of semen, both of them are to bathe with water, and they will remain unclean until evening."
"When a woman has a discharge, and the blood is her monthly menstrual discharge from her body, then for seven days she is to remain in her menstrual uncleanness. Whoever touches her will remain unclean until evening. 19When a woman has a discharge, and it consists of blood from her body, she will be unclean because of her menstruation for seven days. Everyone who touches her will be unclean until evening.
Everything that she sleeps on during her uncleanness will be unclean. Moreover, everything that she sits on will become unclean. 20Anything she lies on during her menstruation will become unclean, and anything she sits on will become unclean.
Anyone who touches her bed is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening. 21Everyone who touches her bed is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
Anyone who touches any of the objects on which she has sat is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening. 22Everyone who touches any furniture she was sitting on is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
Any bed or other object on which she sat that he touches will make him unclean until evening. 23If discharge is on the bed or the furniture she was sitting on, when he touches it he will be unclean until evening.
When a man has sexual relations with her and her menstrual uncleanness touches him, he will be unclean for seven days. Every bed where he sleeps will remain unclean.24If a man sleeps with her, and blood from her menstruation gets on him, he will be unclean for seven days, and every bed he lies on will become unclean."
"When a woman has a continuous discharge of blood many days beyond the time of her menstrual uncleanness, or if she has a discharge that lasts beyond the days of her menstrual uncleanness, her uncleanness is to be treated like the days of her menstruation—she's unclean. 25When a woman has a discharge of her blood for many days, though it is not the time of her menstruation, or if she has a discharge beyond her period, she will be unclean all the days of her unclean discharge, as she is during the days of her menstruation.
Every bed on which she sleeps the whole time she has the discharge will be her own unclean bed, so that every object on which she sits becomes unclean like her menstrual uncleanness. 26Any bed she lies on during the days of her discharge will be like her bed during menstrual impurity; any furniture she sits on will be unclean as in her menstrual period.
Whoever touches them will become unclean. He is to wash his clothes and bathe with water and he will remain unclean until evening.27Everyone who touches them will be unclean; he must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
"If she becomes clean with her discharge, then she is to count for herself seven days, after which she becomes clean. 28When she is cured of her discharge, she is to count seven days, and after that she will be clean.
On the eighth day, she is to take for herself two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. 29On the eighth day she must take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and bring them to the priest at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
Then the priest is to offer one for a sin offering and the other for a whole burnt offering. This is how the priest will make atonement in the LORD's presence for her regarding her unclean discharge.30The priest is to sacrifice one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for her before the LORD because of her unclean discharge."
"So separate the Israelis from their uncleanness so that they won't die in their uncleanness if they defile my tent that is in their midst. 31You must keep the Israelites from their uncleanness, so that they do not die by defiling My tabernacle that is among them.
These are the regulations for one whose discharge of semen causes him to become unclean because of it, 32This is the law for someone with a discharge: a man who has an emission of semen, becoming unclean by it;
for her whose menstruation causes her to become ill, for anyone who has a discharge (whether male or female), and for the man who has sexual relations with one who is unclean."33a woman who is in her menstrual period; anyone who has a discharge, whether male or female; and a man who sleeps with an unclean woman."
