| 3[an error occurred while processing this directive] | 3When he saw that Peter and John were about to go into the Temple, he asked them to give him something. |
| 4[an error occurred while processing this directive] | 4Peter, along with John, looked him straight in the eye and said, "Look at us!" |
| 5[an error occurred while processing this directive] | 5So the man watched them closely, expecting to get something from them. |
| 6[an error occurred while processing this directive] | 6However, Peter said, "I don't have any silver or gold, but I'll give you what I do have. In the name of Jesus the Messiah from Nazareth, walk!" |

| 10[an error occurred while processing this directive] | 10they knew that he was the man who used to sit and beg at the Beautiful Gate of the Temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. |

| 12[an error occurred while processing this directive] | 12When Peter saw this, he told the people: "Fellow Israelis, why are you wondering about this, and why are you staring at us as if by our own power or godliness we made him walk? |
| 13[an error occurred while processing this directive] | 13The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—the God of our ancestors—has glorified his servant Jesus, whom you betrayed and rejected in the presence of Pilate, even though he had decided to let him go. |
