| 3Yes, I also ask you, TRUE partner, to help these women who have contended for the gospel at my side, along with Clement and the rest of my coworkers whose names are in the book of life. | 3Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are in the book of life. |

| 10I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that once again you renewed your care for me. | 16For even in Thessalonica you sent gifts for my need several times. | 16for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid more than once when I was in need. |
| 17Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the profit that is increasing to your account. | 17Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account. |
| 18But I have received everything in full, and I have an abundance. I am fully supplied, having received from Epaphroditus what you provided--a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. | 18I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. |
