10Cush fathered Nimrod, who was the first to become a great warrior on earth.10Cush became the father of Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

19Two sons were born to Eber. One of them was named Peleg because the earth was divided during his lifetime, and the name of his brother was Joktan.19Two sons were born to Eber, the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided, and his brother's name was Joktan.
20Joktan fathered Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,20Joktan became the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,

22Ebal, Abimael, Sheba,22Ebal, Abimael, Sheba,

33Midian's sons: Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All of these were Keturah's descendants.33The sons of Midian were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.
34Abraham fathered Isaac. Isaac's sons: Esau and Israel.34Abraham became the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac were Esau and Israel.
35Esau's sons: Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.35The sons of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam and Korah.
36Eliphaz's sons: Teman, Omar, Zephi, Gatam, and Kenaz; and by Timna, Amalek.36The sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zephi, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna and Amalek.
37Reuel's sons: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.37The sons of Reuel were Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.

39Lotan's sons: Hori and Homam. Timna was Lotan's sister.39The sons of Lotan were Hori and Homam; and Lotan's sister was Timna.
40Shobal's sons: Alian, Manahath, Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. Zibeon's sons: Aiah and Anah.40The sons of Shobal were Alian, Manahath, Ebal, Shephi and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon were Aiah and Anah.
41Anah's son: Dishon. Dishon's sons: Hamran, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.41The son of Anah was Dishon. And the sons of Dishon were Hamran, Eshban, Ithran and Cheran.
42Ezer's sons: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Jaakan. Dishan's sons: Uz and Aran.42The sons of Ezer were Bilhan, Zaavan and Jaakan. The sons of Dishan were Uz and Aran.
43These were the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the Israelites: Bela son of Beor. Bela's town was named Dinhabah.43Now these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before any king of the sons of Israel reigned. Bela was the son of Beor, and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah reigned in his place.44When Bela died, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah became king in his place.
45When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.45When Jobab died, Husham of the land of the Temanites became king in his place.
46When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the territory of Moab, reigned in his place. Hadad's town was named Avith.46When Husham died, Hadad the son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the field of Moab, became king in his place; and the name of his city was Avith.
47When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah reigned in his place.47When Hadad died, Samlah of Masrekah became king in his place.
48When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the Euphrates River reigned in his place.48When Samlah died, Shaul of Rehoboth by the River became king in his place.
49When Shaul died, Baal-hanan son of Achbor reigned in his place.49When Shaul died, Baal-hanan the son of Achbor became king in his place.
50When Baal-hanan died, Hadad reigned in his place. Hadad's city was named Pai, and his wife's name was Mehetabel daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-zahab.50When Baal-hanan died, Hadad became king in his place; and the name of his city was Pai, and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
51Then Hadad died. Edom's chiefs: Timna, Alvah, Jetheth,51Then Hadad died. Now the chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,
52Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon,52chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
53Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar,53chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
