Jeremiah 36
The New Messianic Version of the Bible
1And it came to pass in the fourth year of Y’hoyakim [Yehovah raises up] the son of Yoshiyahu [whom Yehovah heals] king of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], [that] this word came unto Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] from the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), saying, 2Take youi a roll of a book, and write in it all the words that I have spoken unto youi against Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], and against Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], and against all the nations, from the day I spoke unto youi, from the days of Yoshiyahu [whom Yehovah heals], even unto this day. 3It may be that the house of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.

4Then Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] called Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)] the son of Neriyah [lamp of Yehovah]: and Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)] wrote from the mouth of Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] all the words of the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book. 5And Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] commanded Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)], saying, I [am] shut up; I cannot go into the house of the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate): 6Therefore go youi, and read in the roll, which youi have written from my mouth, the words of the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) in the ears of the people in the LORD-Yehovah’s [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] house upon the fasting day: and also youi shall read them in the ears of all Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] that come out of their cities. 7It may be they will present their supplication before the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and will return everyone from his evil way: for great [is] the anger and the fury that the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) has pronounced against this people. 8And Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)] the son of Neriyah [lamp of Yehovah] did according to all that Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] the prophet commanded him, reading in the Book the words of the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) in the LORD-Yehovah’s [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] house.

9And it came to pass in the fifth year of Y’hoyakim [Yehovah raises up] the son of Yoshiyahu [whom Yehovah heals] king of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], in the ninth month, [that] they proclaimed a fast before the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) to all the people in Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], and to all the people that came from the cities of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] unto Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace]. 10Then read Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)] in the book the words of Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] in the house of the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), in the chamber of G’maryah [Yehovah has accomplished] the son of Shafan [coney] the scribe, in the higher court, at the entry of the new gate of the LORD-Yehovah’s [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] house, in the ears of all the people.

11When Mikhayah [who is like God?] the son of G’maryah [Yehovah has accomplished], the son of Shafan [coney], had heard out of the book all the words of the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), 12Then he went down into the king's house, into the scribe's chamber: and, lo, all the princes sat there, [even] Elishama [My God has Heard] the scribe, and D’layahu [Yehovah has accomplished] the son of Sh’may’yah [Yehovah hears], and Elnatan [God has given] the son of ‘Akhbor [mouse], and G’maryah [Yehovah has accomplished] the son of Shafan [coney], and Tzidkiyah [Yehovah is righteous] the son of Hananyah [God has favoured], and all the princes. 13Then Mikhayah [who is like God?] declared unto them all the words that he had heard, when Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)] read the book in the ears of the people. 14Therefore all the princes sent Y’hudi [the Jewish one] the son of N’tanyah [given of Yehovah], the son of Shelemyah [repaid by Yehovah] [repaid by Yehovah], the son of Kushi [their blackness], unto Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)], saying, Take in youri hand the roll wherein youi have read in the ears of the people, and come. So Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)] the son of Neriyah [lamp of Yehovah] took the roll in his hand, and came unto them. 15And they said unto him, Sit down now, and read it in our ears. So Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)] read [it] in their ears. 16Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were afraid both one and other, and said unto Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)], We will surely tell the king of all these words. 17And they asked Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)], saying, Tell us now, How did youi write all these words at his mouth? 18Then Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)] answered them, He pronounced all these words unto me with his mouth, and I wrote [them] with ink in the book. 19Then said the princes unto Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)], Go, hide youi, youi and Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed]; and let no man know where you2f be.

20And they went in to the king into the court, but they laid up the roll in the chamber of Elishama [My God has Heard] the scribe, and told all the words in the ears of the king. 21So the king sent Y’hudi [the Jewish one] to fetch the roll: and he took it out of Elishama [My God has Heard] the scribe's chamber. And Y’hudi [the Jewish one] read it in the ears of the king, and in the ears of all the princes which stood beside the king. 22Now the king sat in the winter house in the ninth month: and [there was a fire] on the hearth burning before him. 23And it came to pass, [that] when Y’hudi [the Jewish one] had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast [it] into the fire that [was] on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that [was] on the hearth. 24Yet they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, [neither] the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words. 25Nevertheless Elnatan [God has given] and D’layahu [Yehovah has accomplished] and G’maryah [Yehovah has accomplished] had made intercession to the king that he would not burn the roll: but he would not hear them. 26But the king commanded Yerachme’el [my God have pity] the son of the king, and S’rayah [Yehovah is ruler] the son of ‘Azri’el [my help is God], and Shelemyah [repaid by Yehovah] [repaid by Yehovah] the son of ‘Acde’el [servant of God], to take Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)] the scribe and Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] the prophet: but the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) hid them.

27Then the word of the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) came to Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed], after that the king had burned the roll, and the words which Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)] wrote at the mouth of Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed], saying, 28Take youi again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Y’hoyakim [Yehovah raises up] the king of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] has burned. 29And youi shall say to Y’hoyakim [Yehovah raises up] king of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], Thus says the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate); youi have burned this roll, saying, Why have youi written in it, saying, The king of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion] shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from there man and beast? 30Therefore thus says the LORD-Yehovah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) of Y’hoyakim [Yehovah raises up] king of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised]; He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David [beloved]: and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost. 31And I will punish him and his seed and his servants for their iniquity; and I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], and upon the men of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], all the evil that I have pronounced against them; but they listened not.

32Then took Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] another roll, and gave it to Barukh [Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous)] the scribe, the son of Neriyah [lamp of Yehovah]; who wrote in it from the mouth of Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] all the words of the book which Y’hoyakim [Yehovah raises up] king of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.
