If thy brother constrained by poverty, sell himself to thee: thou shalt not oppress him with the service of bondservants.

If a countryman among you becomes destitute and sells himself to you, you must not force him into slave labor.And if your brother that dwells by you be waxen poor, and be sold to you; you shall not compel him to serve as a bondservant:
