1 Chronicles 29:23
Good News Translation
So Solomon succeeded his father David on the throne which the LORD had established. He was a successful king, and the whole nation of Israel obeyed him.

Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD, succeeding his father David as king; he prospered, and all Israel obeyed him.
