Constructing the Ark
(Exodus 25:10–16)

1  וַיַּ֧עַשׂ (And made) בְּצַלְאֵ֛ל (Bezalel) אֶת־ (-) הָאָרֹ֖ן (the ark) עֲצֵ֣י (of wood) שִׁטִּ֑ים (acacia). אַמָּתַ֨יִם (Two cubits) וָחֵ֜צִי (and a half) אָרְכּ֗וֹ (was its length), וְאַמָּ֤ה (and a cubit) וָחֵ֙צִי֙ (and a half) רָחְבּ֔וֹ (its width), וְאַמָּ֥ה (and a cubit) וָחֵ֖צִי (and a half) קֹמָתֽוֹ׃ (its height). 2  וַיְצַפֵּ֛הוּ (And he overlaid it) זָהָ֥ב (with gold) טָה֖וֹר (pure) מִבַּ֣יִת (from within) וּמִח֑וּץ (and from without), וַיַּ֥עַשׂ (and he made) ל֛וֹ (for it) זֵ֥ר (a molding) זָהָ֖ב (of gold) סָבִֽיב׃ (all around). 3  וַיִּצֹ֣ק (And he cast) ל֗וֹ (for it) אַרְבַּע֙ (four) טַבְּעֹ֣ת (rings) זָהָ֔ב (of gold) עַ֖ל (on) אַרְבַּ֣ע (its four) פַּעֲמֹתָ֑יו (feet), וּשְׁתֵּ֣י (and two) טַבָּעֹ֗ת (rings) עַל־ (on) צַלְעוֹ֙ (its side) הָֽאֶחָ֔ת (the one) וּשְׁתֵּי֙ (and two) טַבָּע֔וֹת (rings) עַל־ (on) צַלְע֖וֹ (its side) הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃ (the second). 4  וַיַּ֥עַשׂ (And He made) בַּדֵּ֖י (poles) עֲצֵ֣י (of wood) שִׁטִּ֑ים (acacia) וַיְצַ֥ף (and overlaid) אֹתָ֖ם (them) זָהָֽב׃ (with gold). 5  וַיָּבֵ֤א (And he brought) אֶת־ (-) הַבַּדִּים֙ (the poles) בַּטַּבָּעֹ֔ת (into the rings) עַ֖ל (on) צַלְעֹ֣ת (the sides) הָאָרֹ֑ן (of the ark), לָשֵׂ֖את (to carry) אֶת־ (-) הָאָרֹֽן׃ (the ark).

The Mercy Seat
(Exodus 25:17–22)

6  וַיַּ֥עַשׂ (And He made) כַּפֹּ֖רֶת (a mercy seat) זָהָ֣ב (of gold) טָה֑וֹר (pure). אַמָּתַ֤יִם (Two cubits) וָחֵ֙צִי֙ (and a half) אָרְכָּ֔הּ (its length), וְאַמָּ֥ה (and a cubit) וָחֵ֖צִי (and a half) רָחְבָּֽהּ׃ (its width). 7  וַיַּ֛עַשׂ (And He made) שְׁנֵ֥י (two) כְרֻבִ֖ים (cherubim) זָהָ֑ב (of gold), מִקְשָׁה֙ (of hammered work) עָשָׂ֣ה (he made) אֹתָ֔ם (them) מִשְּׁנֵ֖י (from the two) קְצ֥וֹת (ends) הַכַּפֹּֽרֶת׃ (of the mercy seat); 8  כְּרוּב־ (cherub) אֶחָ֤ד (one) מִקָּצָה֙ (from end) מִזֶּ֔ה (from this), וּכְרוּב־ (and cherub) אֶחָ֥ד (one) מִקָּצָ֖ה (from end) מִזֶּ֑ה (from this), מִן־ (from) הַכַּפֹּ֛רֶת (the mercy seat) עָשָׂ֥ה (he made) אֶת־ (-) הַכְּרֻבִ֖ים (the cherubim) מִשְּׁנֵ֥י (from two) קִצְווֹתוֹ׃ (its ends). 9  וַיִּהְי֣וּ (And) הַכְּרֻבִים֩ (the cherubim) פֹּרְשֵׂ֨י (spread out) כְנָפַ֜יִם (the wings) לְמַ֗עְלָה (upward) סֹֽכְכִ֤ים (covering) בְּכַנְפֵיהֶם֙ (with their wings) עַל־ (over) הַכַּפֹּ֔רֶת (the mercy seat), וּפְנֵיהֶ֖ם (and their faces) אִ֣ישׁ (each) אֶל־ (toward) אָחִ֑יו (his brother) אֶל־ (toward) הַכַּפֹּ֔רֶת (the mercy seat) הָי֖וּ (were) פְּנֵ֥י (the faces) הַכְּרֻבִֽים׃פ (of the cherubim).

The Table of Showbread
(Exodus 25:23–30; Leviticus 24:5–9)

10  וַיַּ֥עַשׂ (And He made) אֶת־ (-) הַשֻּׁלְחָ֖ן (the table) עֲצֵ֣י (of wood) שִׁטִּ֑ים (acacia). אַמָּתַ֤יִם (Two cubits) אָרְכּוֹ֙ (its length) וְאַמָּ֣ה (and a cubit) רָחְבּ֔וֹ (its width), וְאַמָּ֥ה (and a cubit) וָחֵ֖צִי (and a half) קֹמָתֽוֹ׃ (its height). 11  וַיְצַ֥ף (And he overlaid) אֹת֖וֹ (it) זָהָ֣ב (with gold) טָה֑וֹר (pure), וַיַּ֥עַשׂ (and he made) ל֛וֹ (for it) זֵ֥ר (a molding) זָהָ֖ב (of gold) סָבִֽיב׃ (all around). 12  וַיַּ֨עַשׂ (And he made) ל֥וֹ (for it) מִסְגֶּ֛רֶת (a frame) טֹ֖פַח (of a handbreadth) סָבִ֑יב (all around), וַיַּ֧עַשׂ (and he made) זֵר־ (a molding) זָהָ֛ב (of gold) לְמִסְגַּרְתּ֖וֹ (for its frame) סָבִֽיב׃ (all around).

13  וַיִּצֹ֣ק (And he cast) ל֔וֹ (for it) אַרְבַּ֖ע (four) טַבְּעֹ֣ת (rings) זָהָ֑ב (of gold), וַיִּתֵּן֙ (and he put) אֶת־ (-) הַטַּבָּעֹ֔ת (the rings) עַ֚ל (on) אַרְבַּ֣ע (four) הַפֵּאֹ֔ת (the corners) אֲשֶׁ֖ר (that were) לְאַרְבַּ֥ע (at four) רַגְלָֽיו׃ (its legs). 14  לְעֻמַּת֙ (Close to) הַמִּסְגֶּ֔רֶת (the frame) הָי֖וּ (were) הַטַּבָּעֹ֑ת (the rings), בָּתִּים֙ (as holders) לַבַּדִּ֔ים (for the poles) לָשֵׂ֖את (to carry) אֶת־ (-) הַשֻּׁלְחָֽן׃ (the table). 15  וַיַּ֤עַשׂ (And he made) אֶת־ (-) הַבַּדִּים֙ (the poles) עֲצֵ֣י (of wood) שִׁטִּ֔ים (acacia), וַיְצַ֥ף (and overlaid) אֹתָ֖ם (them) זָהָ֑ב (with gold), לָשֵׂ֖את (to carry) אֶת־ (-) הַשֻּׁלְחָֽן׃ (the table).

16  וַיַּ֜עַשׂ (And He made) אֶֽת־ (-) הַכֵּלִ֣ים׀ (the vessels) אֲשֶׁ֣ר (which were) עַל־ (on) הַשֻּׁלְחָ֗ן (the table), אֶת־ (-) קְעָרֹתָ֤יו (its dishes), וְאֶת־ (and) כַּפֹּתָיו֙ (its pans), וְאֵת֙ (and) מְנַקִּיֹּתָ֔יו (its bowls), וְאֶת־ (and) הַקְּשָׂוֺ֔ת (the pitchers) אֲשֶׁ֥ר (with which) יֻסַּ֖ךְ (to pour out), בָּהֵ֑ן (with) זָהָ֖ב (gold) טָהֽוֹר׃פ (pure).

The Lampstand
(Exodus 25:31–40; Numbers 8:1–4)

17  וַיַּ֥עַשׂ (And He made) אֶת־ (-) הַמְּנֹרָ֖ה (the lampstand) זָהָ֣ב (of gold) טָה֑וֹר (pure). מִקְשָׁ֞ה (Of hammered work) עָשָׂ֤ה (he made) אֶת־ (-) הַמְּנֹרָה֙ (the lampstand). יְרֵכָ֣הּ (Its base), וְקָנָ֔הּ (and its branch), גְּבִיעֶ֛יהָ (its cups), כַּפְתֹּרֶ֥יהָ (its buds), וּפְרָחֶ֖יהָ (and its flowers), מִמֶּ֥נָּה (from it) הָיֽוּ׃ (they were). 18  וְשִׁשָּׁ֣ה (And six) קָנִ֔ים (branches) יֹצְאִ֖ים (came out) מִצִּדֶּ֑יהָ (from its sides), שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה׀ (three) קְנֵ֣י (branches) מְנֹרָ֗ה (of the lampstand) מִצִּדָּהּ֙ (out of side) הָֽאֶחָ֔ד (the one), וּשְׁלֹשָׁה֙ (and three) קְנֵ֣י (branches) מְנֹרָ֔ה (of the lampstand) מִצִּדָּ֖הּ (out of side) הַשֵּׁנִֽי׃ (the second). 19  שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה (Three) גְ֠בִעִים (cups) מְֽשֻׁקָּדִ֞ים (there were made like almond blossoms) בַּקָּנֶ֣ה (on branch) הָאֶחָד֮ (the one) כַּפְתֹּ֣ר (with a bud) וָפֶרַח֒ (and a flower), וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה (and three) גְבִעִ֗ים (cups) מְשֻׁקָּדִ֛ים (made like almond blossoms) בְּקָנֶ֥ה (on branch) אֶחָ֖ד (the one) כַּפְתֹּ֣ר (with a bud) וָפָ֑רַח (and a flower), כֵּ֚ן (thus) לְשֵׁ֣שֶׁת (for the six) הַקָּנִ֔ים (branches) הַיֹּצְאִ֖ים (coming out) מִן־ (from) הַמְּנֹרָֽה׃ (the lampstand).

20  וּבַמְּנֹרָ֖ה (And on the lampstand itself were) אַרְבָּעָ֣ה (four) גְבִעִ֑ים (cups) מְשֻׁ֨קָּדִ֔ים (made like almond blossoms), כַּפְתֹּרֶ֖יהָ (its buds), וּפְרָחֶֽיהָ׃ (and its flowers). 21  וְכַפְתֹּ֡ר (And a bud was) תַּחַת֩ (under) שְׁנֵ֨י (the two) הַקָּנִ֜ים (branches) מִמֶּ֗נָּה (from it), וְכַפְתֹּר֙ (and a bud) תַּ֣חַת (under) שְׁנֵ֤י (two) הַקָּנִים֙ (the branches) מִמֶּ֔נָּה (from it), וְכַפְתֹּ֕ר (and a bud) תַּֽחַת־ (under) שְׁנֵ֥י (two) הַקָּנִ֖ים (the branches) מִמֶּ֑נָּה (from it), לְשֵׁ֙שֶׁת֙ (for the six) הַקָּנִ֔ים (branches) הַיֹּצְאִ֖ים (going out) מִמֶּֽנָּה׃ (from it). 22  כַּפְתֹּרֵיהֶ֥ם (Their buds) וּקְנֹתָ֖ם (and their branches) מִמֶּ֣נָּה (from it) הָי֑וּ (were), כֻּלָּ֛הּ (all of it) מִקְשָׁ֥ה (hammered work) אַחַ֖ת (one) זָהָ֥ב (of gold) טָהֽוֹר׃ (pure).

23  וַיַּ֥עַשׂ (And he made) אֶת־ (-) נֵרֹתֶ֖יהָ (its lamps) שִׁבְעָ֑ה (seven), וּמַלְקָחֶ֥יהָ (and its wick trimmers), וּמַחְתֹּתֶ֖יהָ (and its firepans) זָהָ֥ב (of gold) טָהֽוֹר׃ (pure). 24  כִּכָּ֛ר (Of a talent) זָהָ֥ב (of gold) טָה֖וֹר (pure) עָשָׂ֣ה (he made) אֹתָ֑הּ (it), וְאֵ֖ת (and with) כָּל־ (all) כֵּלֶֽיהָ׃פ (its vessels).

The Altar of Incense
(Exodus 30:1–10)

25  וַיַּ֛עַשׂ (And He made) אֶת־ (-) מִזְבַּ֥ח (the altar) הַקְּטֹ֖רֶת (of the incense) עֲצֵ֣י (of wood) שִׁטִּ֑ים (acacia), אַמָּ֣ה (a cubit) אָרְכּוֹ֩ (its length), וְאַמָּ֨ה (and a cubit) רָחְבּ֜וֹ (its width)— רָב֗וּעַ (square)— וְאַמָּתַ֙יִם֙ (and two cubits) קֹֽמָת֔וֹ (its height). מִמֶּ֖נּוּ (From it) הָי֥וּ (were) קַרְנֹתָֽיו׃ (its horns). 26  וַיְצַ֨ף (And he overlaid) אֹת֜וֹ (it) זָהָ֣ב (with gold) טָה֗וֹר (pure) אֶת־ (-), גַּגּ֧וֹ (its top) וְאֶת־ (and) קִירֹתָ֛יו (its sides) סָבִ֖יב (all around), וְאֶת־ (and) קַרְנֹתָ֑יו (its horns). וַיַּ֥עַשׂ (And He made) ל֛וֹ (for it) זֵ֥ר (a molding) זָהָ֖ב (of gold) סָבִֽיב׃ (all around).

27  וּשְׁתֵּי֩ (And two) טַבְּעֹ֨ת (rings) זָהָ֜ב (of gold) עָֽשָׂה־ (He made) ל֣וֹ׀ (for it) מִתַּ֣חַת (under) לְזֵר֗וֹ (the molding), עַ֚ל (on) שְׁתֵּ֣י (two) צַלְעֹתָ֔יו (of its sides) עַ֖ל (on) שְׁנֵ֣י (both) צִדָּ֑יו (of its flanks) לְבָתִּ֣ים (as holders), לְבַדִּ֔ים (for poles) לָשֵׂ֥את (to carry) אֹת֖וֹ (it) בָּהֶֽם׃ (with them). 28  וַיַּ֥עַשׂ (And he made) אֶת־ (-) הַבַּדִּ֖ים (the poles) עֲצֵ֣י (of wood) שִׁטִּ֑ים (acacia), וַיְצַ֥ף (and he overlaid) אֹתָ֖ם (them) זָהָֽב׃ (with gold).

29  וַיַּ֜עַשׂ (And He made) אֶת־ (-) שֶׁ֤מֶן (oil) הַמִּשְׁחָה֙ (the anointing) קֹ֔דֶשׁ (holy), וְאֶת־ (and) קְטֹ֥רֶת (incense) הַסַּמִּ֖ים (of the spices) טָה֑וֹר (pure), מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה (the work) רֹקֵֽחַ׃פ (of a perfumer).
