1 Of David, when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, so that the king drove him away. I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise will always be on my lips. 2 My soul boasts in the LORD; let the oppressed hear and rejoice. My soul makes its boast in the LORD; let the humble hear and be glad. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear <i>thereof</i>, and be glad. My soul will make its boast in the LORD; The humble will hear it and rejoice. I will glory in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
3 Magnify the LORD with me; let us exalt His name together. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together! O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. Exalt the LORD with me, And let’s exalt His name together. Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together.
4 I sought the LORD, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears. I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. 9 Fear the LORD, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing. Oh, fear the LORD, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack! Fear the LORD, you His saints; For to those who fear Him there is no lack <i>of anything.</i> Fear the LORD, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing.
10 Young lions go lacking and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good <i>thing</i>. The young lions do without and suffer hunger; But they who seek the LORD will not lack any good thing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.
11 Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Come, O children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. 12 Who is the man who delights in life, who desires to see good days? What man is there who desires life and loves many days, that he may see good? What man <i>is he that</i> desireth life, <i>and</i> loveth <i>many</i> days, that he may see good? Who is the person who desires life And loves <i>length of</i> days, that he may see good? Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days,
13 Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceitful speech. Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. 16 But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to wipe out all memory of them from the earth. 17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears; He delivers them from all their troubles. 18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted; He saves the contrite in spirit. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned.
22 The LORD redeems His servants, and none who take refuge in Him will be condemned. The LORD redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. The LORD redeems the souls of His servants, And none of those who take refuge in Him will suffer for their guilt. The LORD will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
