1 Of David, when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, so that the king drove him away. I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise will always be on my lips. I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. <i>A Psalm</i> of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed. I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.
2 My soul boasts in the LORD; let the oppressed hear and rejoice. My soul makes its boast in the LORD; let the humble hear and be glad. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear <i>thereof</i>, and be glad. My soul will make its boast in the LORD; The humble will hear it and rejoice. I will glory in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
3 Magnify the LORD with me; let us exalt His name together. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together! O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. Exalt the LORD with me, And let’s exalt His name together. Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together.
4 I sought the LORD, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears. I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. 5 Those who look to Him are radiant with joy; their faces shall never be ashamed. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces will never be ashamed. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.
6 This poor man called out, and the LORD heard him; He saved him from all his troubles. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him and saved him out of all his troubles. 9 Fear the LORD, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing. Oh, fear the LORD, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack! O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for <i>there is</i> no want to them that fear him. Fear the LORD, you His saints; For to those who fear Him there is no lack <i>of anything.</i> Fear the LORD, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing.
10 Young lions go lacking and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good <i>thing</i>. The young lions do without and suffer hunger; But they who seek the LORD will not lack any good thing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.
11 Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Come, O children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12 Who is the man who delights in life, who desires to see good days? What man is there who desires life and loves many days, that he may see good? What man <i>is he that</i> desireth life, <i>and</i> loveth <i>many</i> days, that he may see good? Who is the person who desires life And loves <i>length of</i> days, that he may see good? Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days,
13 Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceitful speech. Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Keep your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking deceit. keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.

15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are inclined to their cry. The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry. 16 But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to wipe out all memory of them from the earth. The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. The face of the LORD <i>is</i> against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The face of the LORD is against evildoers, To eliminate the memory of them from the earth. but the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth.
17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears; He delivers them from all their troubles. When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. <i>The righteous</i> cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. <i>The righteous</i> cry out, and the LORD hears And rescues them from all their troubles. 18 The LORD is near to the brokenhearted; He saves the contrite in spirit. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. The LORD <i>is</i> nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit. 21 Evil will slay the wicked, and the haters of the righteous will be condemned. Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. Evil will bring death to the wicked, And those who hate the righteous will suffer for their guilt. Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned.
22 The LORD redeems His servants, and none who take refuge in Him will be condemned. The LORD redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. The LORD redeems the souls of His servants, And none of those who take refuge in Him will suffer for their guilt. The LORD will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
