But unto the sons of Kohath he gave none: because the service of the sanctuary belonging unto them <i>was that</i> they should bear upon their shoulders. But he did not give <i>any</i> to the sons of Kohath, because theirs <i>was</i> the service of the holy <i>objects, which</i> they carried on the shoulder. But Moses did not give any to the Kohathites, because they were to carry on their shoulders the holy things, for which they were responsible.
10 When the altar was anointed, the leaders approached with their offerings for its dedication and presented them before the altar. And the chiefs offered offerings for the dedication of the altar on the day it was anointed; and the chiefs offered their offering before the altar. And the princes offered for dedicating of the altar in the day that it was anointed, even the princes offered their offering before the altar. And the leaders offered the dedication <i>offering</i> for the altar when it was anointed, so the leaders offered their offering before the altar. When the altar was anointed, the leaders brought their offerings for its dedication and presented them before the altar.
11 And the LORD said to Moses, “Each day one leader is to present his offering for the dedication of the altar.” And the LORD said to Moses, “They shall offer their offerings, one chief each day, for the dedication of the altar.” And the LORD said unto Moses, They shall offer their offering, each prince on his day, for the dedicating of the altar.
