6 All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon (whiteness) to Misrephoth-maim (burnings of water)—all the Sidonians—I Myself will drive out before the Israelites (God prevails). Be sure to divide it by lot as an inheritance to Israel, as I have commanded you. all the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth-maim, even all the Sidonians. I myself will drive them out from before the people of Israel. Be sure to allocate this land to Israel for an inheritance, as I have instructed you,
7 Now therefore divide this land as an inheritance to the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasseh (causing to forget).” Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes and half the tribe of Manasseh.” and divide it as an inheritance among the nine tribes and half of the tribe of Manasseh.”
8 The other half of Manasseh, along with the Reubenites and Gadites (a troop / fortune), had received the inheritance Moses (drawn out) had given them beyond the Jordan (flowing down) to the east, just as Moses the servant of the LORD {YHWH} had assigned to them: With the other half of the tribe of Manasseh the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them: The other half of Manasseh, the Reubenites and the Gadites had received the inheritance that Moses had given them east of the Jordan, as he, the servant of the LORD, had assigned it to them.

Yet the people of Israel did not drive out the Geshurites or the Maacathites, but Geshur and Maacath dwell in the midst of Israel to this day.
