| 64 | ἀλλ’ εἰσὶν ἐξ ὑμῶν τινες οἳ οὐ πιστεύουσιν ᾔδει γὰρ ἐξ ἀρχῆς ὁ Ἰησοῦς τίνες εἰσὶν οἱ μὴ πιστεύοντες καὶ τίς ἐστιν ὁ παραδώσων αὐτόν | But there are some of you who do not believe.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning who those were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray him.) | Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him. | |
| 65 | Καὶ ἔλεγεν Διὰ τοῦτο εἴρηκα ὑμῖν ὅτι οὐδεὶς δύναται ἐλθεῖν πρός με ἐὰν μὴ ᾖ δεδομένον αὐτῷ ἐκ τοῦ Πατρός | And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.” | He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them.” | |
| 66 | Ἐκ τούτου πολλοὶ ‹ἐκ› τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ ἀπῆλθον εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω καὶ οὐκέτι μετ’ αὐτοῦ περιεπάτουν | After this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him. | From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. | |
