31 Ἐν τῷ μεταξὺ ἠρώτων αὐτὸν οἱ μαθηταὶ λέγοντες Ῥαββί φάγε Meanwhile the disciples were urging him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.” Meanwhile his disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat something.”
32 δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Ἐγὼ βρῶσιν ἔχω φαγεῖν ἣν ὑμεῖς οὐκ οἴδατε But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you do not know about.” But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.”
33 Ἔλεγον οὖν οἱ μαθηταὶ πρὸς ἀλλήλους Μή τις ἤνεγκεν αὐτῷ φαγεῖν So the disciples said to one another, “Has anyone brought him something to eat?” Then his disciples said to each other, “Could someone have brought him food?”
34 Λέγει αὐτοῖς Ἰησοῦς Ἐμὸν βρῶμά ἐστιν ἵνα ποιήσω* τὸ θέλημα τοῦ πέμψαντός με καὶ τελειώσω αὐτοῦ τὸ ἔργον Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work. “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.
