1 |When you have experienced all these things, both the blessings and the curses I have set before you, you will reflect upon them in all the nations where the LORD your God has banished you. “And when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the LORD your God has driven you, When all these blessings and curses I have set before you come on you and you take them to heart wherever the LORD your God disperses you among the nations,
2 Then if you and your descendants turn to the LORD your God and obey him with your whole mind and being just as I am commanding you today, and return to the LORD your God, you and your children, and obey his voice in all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your soul, and when you and your children return to the LORD your God and obey him with all your heart and with all your soul according to everything I command you today,
3 the LORD your God will reverse your captivity and have pity on you. He will turn and gather you from all the peoples among whom he has scattered you. then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have mercy on you, and he will gather you again from all the peoples where the LORD your God has scattered you. then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you.

For the LORD will again take delight in prospering you, as he took delight in your fathers, Then the LORD your God will make you most prosperous in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your land. The LORD will again delight in you and make you prosperous, just as he delighted in your ancestors,
10 if you obey the LORD your God and keep his commandments and statutes that are written in this scroll of the law. 12 It is not in heaven, as though one must say, |Who will go up to heaven to get it for us and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?| It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will ascend to heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’ It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”
13 And it is not across the sea, as though one must say, |Who will cross over to the other side of the sea and get it for us and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?| Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, ‘Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’ Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”

18 I declare to you this very day that you will certainly perish! You will not extend your time in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.
