1	וּבִ֨נְיָמִ֔ן הוֹלִ֖יד אֶת־ בֶּ֣לַע בְּכֹר֑וֹ אַשְׁבֵּל֙ הַשֵּׁנִ֔י וְאַחְרַ֖ח הַשְּׁלִישִֽׁי׃	Benjamin fathered Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, Aharah the third,	Benjamin was the father of Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second son, Aharah the third,
2	נוֹחָה֙ הָֽרְבִיעִ֔י וְרָפָ֖א הַחֲמִישִֽׁי׃ ס	Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.	Nohah the fourth and Rapha the fifth.
3	וַיִּהְי֥וּ בָנִ֖ים לְבָ֑לַע אַדָּ֥ר וְגֵרָ֖א וַאֲבִיהֽוּד׃	And Bela had sons: Addar, Gera, Abihud,	The sons of Bela were: Addar, Gera, Abihud,
4	וַאֲבִישׁ֥וּעַ וְנַעֲמָ֖ן וַאֲחֽוֹחַ׃	Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,	Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,
5	וְגֵרָ֥א וּשְׁפוּפָ֖ן וְחוּרָֽם׃	Gera, Shephuphan, and Huram.	Gera, Shephuphan and Huram.
6	וְאֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֣י אֵח֑וּד אֵ֣לֶּה הֵ֞ם רָאשֵׁ֤י אָבוֹת֙ לְי֣וֹשְׁבֵי גֶ֔בַע וַיַּגְל֖וּם אֶל־ מָנָֽחַת׃	These are the sons of Ehud (they were heads of fathers’ houses of the inhabitants of Geba, and they were carried into exile to Manahath):	These were the descendants of Ehud, who were heads of families of those living in Geba and were deported to Manahath:
7	וְנַעֲמָ֧ן וַאֲחִיָּ֛ה וְגֵרָ֖א ה֣וּא הֶגְלָ֑ם וְהוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־ עֻזָּ֖א וְאֶת־ אֲחִיחֻֽד׃	Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera, that is, Heglam, who fathered Uzza and Ahihud.	Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera, who deported them and who was the father of Uzza and Ahihud.
8	וְשַׁחֲרַ֗יִם הוֹלִיד֙ בִּשְׂדֵ֣ה מוֹאָ֔ב מִן־ שִׁלְח֖וֹ אֹתָ֑ם חוּשִׁ֥ים וְאֶֽת־ בַּעֲרָ֖א נָשָֽׁיו׃	And Shaharaim fathered sons in the country of Moab after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives.	Sons were born to Shaharaim in Moab after he had divorced his wives Hushim and Baara.
9	וַיּ֖וֹלֶד מִן־ חֹ֣דֶשׁ אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ אֶת־ יוֹבָב֙ וְאֶת־ צִבְיָ֔א וְאֶת־ מֵישָׁ֖א וְאֶת־ מַלְכָּֽם׃	He fathered sons by Hodesh his wife: Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam,	By his wife Hodesh he had Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malkam,
10	וְאֶת־ יְע֥וּץ וְאֶת־ שָֽׂכְיָ֖ה וְאֶת־ מִרְמָ֑ה אֵ֥לֶּה בָנָ֖יו רָאשֵׁ֥י אָבֽוֹת׃	Jeuz, Sachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of fathers’ houses.	Jeuz, Sakia and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of families.
11	וּמֵחֻשִׁ֛ים הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־ אֲבִיט֖וּב וְאֶת־ אֶלְפָּֽעַל׃	He also fathered sons by Hushim: Abitub and Elpaal.	By Hushim he had Abitub and Elpaal.
12	וּבְנֵ֣י אֶלְפַּ֔עַל עֵ֥בֶר וּמִשְׁעָ֖ם וָשָׁ֑מֶד ה֚וּא בָּנָ֣ה אֶת־ אוֹנ֔וֹ וְאֶת־ לֹ֖ד וּבְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃	The sons of Elpaal: Eber, Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod with its towns,	The sons of Elpaal: Eber, Misham, Shemed (who built Ono and Lod with its surrounding villages),
13	וּבְרִעָ֣ה וָשֶׁ֔מַע הֵ֚מָּה רָאשֵׁ֣י הָאָב֔וֹת לְיוֹשְׁבֵ֖י אַיָּל֑וֹן הֵ֥מָּה הִבְרִ֖יחוּ אֶת־ י֥וֹשְׁבֵי גַֽת׃	and Beriah and Shema (they were heads of fathers’ houses of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who caused the inhabitants of Gath to flee);	and Beriah and Shema, who were heads of families of those living in Aijalon and who drove out the inhabitants of Gath.
14	וְאַחְי֥וֹ שָׁשָׁ֖ק וִירֵמֽוֹת׃	and Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth.	Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth,
15	וּזְבַדְיָ֥ה וַעֲרָ֖ד וָעָֽדֶר׃	Zebadiah, Arad, Eder,	Zebadiah, Arad, Eder,
16	וּמִיכָאֵ֧ל וְיִשְׁפָּ֛ה וְיוֹחָ֖א בְּנֵ֥י בְרִיעָֽה׃	Michael, Ishpah, and Joha were sons of Beriah.	Michael, Ishpah and Joha were the sons of Beriah.
17	וּזְבַדְיָ֥ה וּמְשֻׁלָּ֖ם וְחִזְקִ֥י וָחָֽבֶר׃	Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber,	Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber,
18	וְיִשְׁמְרַ֧י וְיִזְלִיאָ֛ה וְיוֹבָ֖ב בְּנֵ֥י אֶלְפָּֽעַל׃	Ishmerai, Izliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.	Ishmerai, Izliah and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.
19	וְיָקִ֥ים וְזִכְרִ֖י וְזַבְדִּֽי׃	Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi,	Jakim, Zikri, Zabdi,
20	וֶאֱלִיעֵנַ֥י וְצִלְּתַ֖י וֶאֱלִיאֵֽל׃	Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel,	Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel,
21	וַעֲדָיָ֧ה וּבְרָאיָ֛ה וְשִׁמְרָ֖ת בְּנֵ֥י שִׁמְעִֽי׃	Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.	Adaiah, Beraiah and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.
22	וְיִשְׁפָּ֥ן וָעֵ֖בֶר וֶאֱלִיאֵֽל׃	Ishpan, Eber, Eliel,	Ishpan, Eber, Eliel,
23	וְעַבְדּ֥וֹן וְזִכְרִ֖י וְחָנָֽן׃	Abdon, Zichri, Hanan,	Abdon, Zikri, Hanan,
24	וַחֲנַנְיָ֥ה וְעֵילָ֖ם וְעַנְתֹתִיָּֽה׃	Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah,	Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah,
25	וְיִפְדְיָ֥ה [ופניאל] (וּפְנוּאֵ֖ל) בְּנֵ֥י שָׁשָֽׁק׃	Iphdeiah, and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.	Iphdeiah and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.
26	וְשַׁמְשְׁרַ֥י וּשְׁחַרְיָ֖ה וַעֲתַלְיָֽה׃	Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah,	Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah,
27	וְיַעֲרֶשְׁיָ֧ה וְאֵלִיָּ֛ה וְזִכְרִ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יְרֹחָֽם׃	Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.	Jaareshiah, Elijah and Zikri were the sons of Jeroham.
28	אֵ֣לֶּה רָאשֵׁ֥י אָב֛וֹת לְתֹלְדוֹתָ֖ם רָאשִׁ֑ים אֵ֖לֶּה יָשְׁב֥וּ בִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ ס	These were the heads of fathers’ houses, according to their generations, chief men. These lived in Jerusalem.	All these were heads of families, chiefs as listed in their genealogy, and they lived in Jerusalem.
29	וּבְגִבְע֥וֹן יָשְׁב֖וּ אֲבִ֣י גִבְע֑וֹן וְשֵׁ֥ם אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ מַעֲכָֽה׃	Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon, and the name of his wife was Maacah.	Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon. His wife’s name was Maakah,
30	וּבְנ֥וֹ הַבְּכ֖וֹר עַבְדּ֑וֹן וְצ֥וּר וְקִ֖ישׁ וּבַ֥עַל וְנָדָֽב׃	His firstborn son: Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab,	and his firstborn son was Abdon, followed by Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
31	וּגְד֥וֹר וְאַחְי֖וֹ וָזָֽכֶר׃	Gedor, Ahio, Zecher,	Gedor, Ahio, Zeker
32	וּמִקְל֖וֹת הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ שִׁמְאָ֑ה וְאַף־ הֵ֗מָּה נֶ֧גֶד אֲחֵיהֶ֛ם יָשְׁב֥וּ בִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם עִם־ אֲחֵיהֶֽם׃ ס	and Mikloth (he fathered Shimeah). Now these also lived opposite their kinsmen in Jerusalem, with their kinsmen.	and Mikloth, who was the father of Shimeah. They too lived near their relatives in Jerusalem.
33	וְנֵר֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ קִ֔ישׁ וְקִ֖ישׁ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ שָׁא֑וּל וְשָׁא֗וּל הוֹלִ֤יד אֶת־ יְהֽוֹנָתָן֙ וְאֶת־ מַלְכִּי־ שׁ֔וּעַ וְאֶת־ אֲבִֽינָדָ֖ב וְאֶת־ אֶשְׁבָּֽעַל׃	Ner was the father of Kish, Kish of Saul, Saul of Jonathan, Malchi-shua, Abinadab and Eshbaal;	Ner was the father of Kish, Kish the father of Saul, and Saul the father of Jonathan, Malki-Shua, Abinadab and Esh-Baal.
34	וּבֶן־ יְהוֹנָתָ֖ן מְרִ֣יב בָּ֑עַל וּמְרִ֥יב בַּ֖עַל הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־ מִיכָֽה׃ ס	and the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal; and Merib-baal was the father of Micah.	The son of Jonathan: Merib-Baal, who was the father of Micah.
35	וּבְנֵ֖י מִיכָ֑ה פִּית֥וֹן וָמֶ֖לֶךְ וְתַאְרֵ֥עַ וְאָחָֽז׃	The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tarea, and Ahaz.	The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melek, Tarea and Ahaz.
36	וְאָחָז֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ יְהוֹעַדָּ֔ה וִיהֽוֹעַדָּ֗ה הוֹלִ֛יד אֶת־ עָלֶ֥מֶת וְאֶת־ עַזְמָ֖וֶת וְאֶת־ זִמְרִ֑י וְזִמְרִ֖י הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־ מוֹצָֽא׃	Ahaz fathered Jehoaddah, and Jehoaddah fathered Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri fathered Moza.	Ahaz was the father of Jehoaddah, Jehoaddah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri, and Zimri was the father of Moza.
37	וּמוֹצָ֖א הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־ בִּנְעָ֑א רָפָ֥ה בְנ֛וֹ אֶלְעָשָׂ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ אָצֵ֥ל בְּנֽוֹ׃	Moza fathered Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.	Moza was the father of Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son and Azel his son.
38	וּלְאָצֵל֮ שִׁשָּׁ֣ה בָנִים֒ וְאֵ֣לֶּה שְׁמוֹתָ֗ם עַזְרִיקָ֥ם ׀ בֹּ֙כְרוּ֙ וְיִשְׁמָעֵ֣אל וּשְׁעַרְיָ֔ה וְעֹבַדְיָ֖ה וְחָנָ֑ן כָּל־ אֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֥י אָצַֽל׃	Azel had six sons, and these are their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.	Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
39	וּבְנֵ֖י עֵ֣שֶׁק אָחִ֑יו אוּלָ֣ם בְּכֹר֔וֹ יְעוּשׁ֙ הַשֵּׁנִ֔י וֶֽאֱלִיפֶ֖לֶט הַשְּׁלִשִֽׁי׃	The sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.	The sons of his brother Eshek: Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second son and Eliphelet the third.
40	וַֽיִּהְי֣וּ בְנֵי־ א֠וּלָם אֲנָשִׁ֨ים גִּבֹּרֵי־ חַ֜יִל דֹּ֣רְכֵי קֶ֗שֶׁת וּמַרְבִּ֤ים בָּנִים֙ וּבְנֵ֣י בָנִ֔ים מֵאָ֖ה וַחֲמִשִּׁ֑ים כָּל־ אֵ֖לֶּה מִבְּנֵ֥י בִנְיָמִֽן׃ פ	The sons of Ulam were men who were mighty warriors, bowmen, having many sons and grandsons, 150. All these were Benjaminites.	The sons of Ulam were brave warriors who could handle the bow. They had many sons and grandsons—150 in all. All these were the descendants of Benjamin.
