The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron:1And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying,
"Speak to the Israelites and tell them, 'When any man has a discharge from his body, his discharge is unclean.2Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.
Now this is his uncleanness in regard to his discharge--whether his body secretes his discharge or blocks his discharge, he is unclean. All the days that his body has a discharge or his body blocks his discharge, this is his uncleanness. 3And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.
"'Any bed the man with a discharge lies on will be unclean, and any furniture he sits on will be unclean.4Every bed, whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing, whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.
Anyone who touches his bed must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.5And whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
The one who sits on the furniture the man with a discharge sits on must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.6And he that sitteth on any thing whereon he sat that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
The one who touches the body of the man with a discharge must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.7And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
If the man with a discharge spits on a person who is ceremonially clean, that person must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.8And if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is clean; then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Any means of riding the man with a discharge rides on will be unclean.9And what saddle soever he rideth upon that hath the issue shall be unclean.
Anyone who touches anything that was under him will be unclean until evening, and the one who carries those items must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.10And whosoever toucheth any thing that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that beareth any of those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Anyone whom the man with the discharge touches without having rinsed his hands in water must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.11And whomsoever he toucheth that hath the issue, and hath not rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
A clay vessel which the man with the discharge touches must be broken, and any wooden utensil must be rinsed in water. 12And the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.
"'When the man with the discharge becomes clean from his discharge he is to count off for himself seven days for his purification, and he must wash his clothes, bathe in fresh water, and be clean.13And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.
Then on the eighth day he is to take for himself two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and he is to present himself before the LORD at the entrance of the Meeting Tent and give them to the priest,14And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest:
and the priest is to make one of them a sin offering and the other a burnt offering. So the priest is to make atonement for him before the LORD for his discharge. 15And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.
"'When a man has a seminal emission, he must bathe his whole body in water and be unclean until evening,16And if any man's seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.
and he must wash in water any clothing or leather that has semen on it, and it will be unclean until evening.17And every garment, and every skin, whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even.
When a man has sexual intercourse with a woman and there is a seminal emission, they must bathe in water and be unclean until evening. 18The woman also with whom man shall lie with seed of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the even.
"'When a woman has a discharge and her discharge is blood from her body, she is to be in her menstruation seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean until evening.19And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.
Anything she lies on during her menstruation will be unclean, and anything she sits on will be unclean.20And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean.
Anyone who touches her bed must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.21And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
Anyone who touches any furniture she sits on must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.22And whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
If there is something on the bed or on the furniture she sits on, when he touches it he will be unclean until evening,23And if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even.
and if a man actually has sexual intercourse with her so that her menstrual impurity touches him, then he will be unclean seven days and any bed he lies on will be unclean. 24And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean.
"'When a woman's discharge of blood flows many days not at the time of her menstruation, or if it flows beyond the time of her menstruation, all the days of her discharge of impurity will be like the days of her menstruation--she is unclean.25And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.
Any bed she lies on all the days of her discharge will be to her like the bed of her menstruation, any furniture she sits on will be unclean like the impurity of her menstruation,26Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation.
and anyone who touches them will be unclean, and he must wash his clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 27And whosoever toucheth those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
"'If she becomes clean from her discharge, then she is to count off for herself seven days, and afterward she will be clean.28But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.
Then on the eighth day she must take for herself two turtledoves or two young pigeons and she must bring them to the priest at the entrance of the Meeting Tent,29And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
and the priest is to make one a sin offering and the other a burnt offering. So the priest is to make atonement for her before the LORD from her discharge of impurity. 30And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.
"'Thus you are to set the Israelites apart from their impurity so that they do not die in their impurity by defiling my tabernacle which is in their midst.31Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.
This is the law of the one with a discharge: the one who has a seminal emission and becomes unclean by it,32This is the law of him that hath an issue, and of him whose seed goeth from him, and is defiled therewith;
the one who is sick in her menstruation, the one with a discharge, whether male or female, and a man who has sexual intercourse with an unclean woman.'" 33And of her that is sick of her flowers, and of him that hath an issue, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lieth with her that is unclean.
