1A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I have cried to You, O LORD.1שִׁ֥יר הַֽמַּעֲל֑וֹת מִמַּעֲמַקִּ֖ים קְרָאתִ֣יךָ יְהוָֽה׃
2Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.2אֲדֹנָי֮ שִׁמְעָ֪ה בְק֫וֹלִ֥י תִּהְיֶ֣ינָה אָ֭זְנֶיךָ קַשֻּׁב֑וֹת לְ֝ק֗וֹל תַּחֲנוּנָֽי׃
3If You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?3אִם־ עֲוֺנ֥וֹת תִּשְׁמָר־ יָ֑הּ אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י מִ֣י יַעֲמֹֽד׃
4But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared.4כִּֽי־ עִמְּךָ֥ הַסְּלִיחָ֑ה לְ֝מַ֗עַן תִּוָּרֵֽא׃
5I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, And in His word do I hope.5קִוִּ֣יתִי יְ֭הוָה קִוְּתָ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֑י וְֽלִדְבָר֥וֹ הוֹחָֽלְתִּי׃
6My soul waits for the Lord More than the watchmen for the morning; Indeed, more than the watchmen for the morning.6נַפְשִׁ֥י לַֽאדֹנָ֑י מִשֹּׁמְרִ֥ים לַ֝בֹּ֗קֶר שֹׁמְרִ֥ים לַבֹּֽקֶר׃
7O Israel, hope in the LORD; For with the LORD there is lovingkindness, And with Him is abundant redemption.7יַחֵ֥ל יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אֶל־ יְה֫וָה כִּֽי־ עִם־ יְהוָ֥ה הַחֶ֑סֶד וְהַרְבֵּ֖ה עִמּ֣וֹ פְדֽוּת׃
8And He will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.8וְ֭הוּא יִפְדֶּ֣ה אֶת־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל מִ֝כֹּ֗ל עֲוֺנֹתָֽיו׃
