Psalm 130
NASB Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995New Living Translation
1A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I have cried to You, O LORD.1From the depths of despair, O LORD, I call for your help.
2Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.2Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.
3If You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?3LORD, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive?
4But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared.4But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you.
5I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, And in His word do I hope.5I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.
6My soul waits for the Lord More than the watchmen for the morning; Indeed, more than the watchmen for the morning.6I long for the Lord more than sentries long for the dawn, yes, more than sentries long for the dawn.
7O Israel, hope in the LORD; For with the LORD there is lovingkindness, And with Him is abundant redemption.7O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows.
8And He will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.8He himself will redeem Israel from every kind of sin.
