Who keeps us in life And does not allow our feet to slip. | 9He preserves our lives and keeps our feet from slipping. |
For You have tried us, O God; You have refined us as silver is refined. | 10For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us like silver. |

Come and hear, all who fear God, And I will tell of what He has done for my soul. | 16Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will declare what He has done for me. |
I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was extolled with my tongue. | 17I cried out to Him with my mouth and praised Him with my tongue. |
If I regard wickedness in my heart, The Lord will not hear; | 18If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. |
But certainly God has heard; He has given heed to the voice of my prayer. | 19But God has surely heard; He has attended to the sound of my prayer. |
Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer Nor His lovingkindness from me. | 20Blessed be God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld from me His loving devotion! |
