Psalm 128
KJV Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleNew Living Translation
1A Song of degrees. Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.1How joyful are those who fear the LORD— all who follow his ways!
2For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.2You will enjoy the fruit of your labor. How joyful and prosperous you will be!
3Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.3Your wife will be like a fruitful grapevine, flourishing within your home. Your children will be like vigorous young olive trees as they sit around your table.
4Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.4That is the LORD’s blessing for those who fear him.
5The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.5May the LORD continually bless you from Zion. May you see Jerusalem prosper as long as you live.
6Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.6May you live to enjoy your grandchildren. May Israel have peace!
