Psalm 128
KJV Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleNew International Version
1A Song of degrees. Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.1A song of ascents. Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in obedience to him.
2For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.2You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.
3Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.3Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table.
4Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.4Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the LORD.
5The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.5May the LORD bless you from Zion; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
6Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.6May you live to see your children's children-- peace be on Israel.
