Psalm 128
KJV Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleNew American Standard Bible 1995
1A Song of degrees. Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.1A Song of Ascents. How blessed is everyone who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways.
2For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.2When you shall eat of the fruit of your hands, You will be happy and it will be well with you.
3Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.3Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine Within your house, Your children like olive plants Around your table.
4Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.4Behold, for thus shall the man be blessed Who fears the LORD.
5The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.5The LORD bless you from Zion, And may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life.
6Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.6Indeed, may you see your children's children. Peace be upon Israel!
