And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,1Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:2"See, I have called by name Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.
And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,3"I have filled him with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship,
To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,4to make artistic designs for work in gold, in silver, and in bronze,
And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.5and in the cutting of stones for settings, and in the carving of wood, that he may work in all kinds of craftsmanship.
And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;6"And behold, I Myself have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and in the hearts of all who are skillful I have put skill, that they may make all that I have commanded you:
The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle,7the tent of meeting, and the ark of testimony, and the mercy seat upon it, and all the furniture of the tent,
And the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incense,8the table also and its utensils, and the pure gold lampstand with all its utensils, and the altar of incense,
And the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot,9the altar of burnt offering also with all its utensils, and the laver and its stand,
And the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office,10the woven garments as well, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, with which to carry on their priesthood;
And the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do.11the anointing oil also, and the fragrant incense for the holy place, they are to make them according to all that I have commanded you."
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,12The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.13"But as for you, speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'You shall surely observe My sabbaths; for this is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you.
Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.14'Therefore you are to observe the sabbath, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people.
Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.15'For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a sabbath of complete rest, holy to the LORD; whoever does any work on the sabbath day shall surely be put to death.
Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.16'So the sons of Israel shall observe the sabbath, to celebrate the sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant.'
It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.17"It is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever; for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day He ceased from labor, and was refreshed."
And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.18When He had finished speaking with him upon Mount Sinai, He gave Moses the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written by the finger of God.
