Psalm 108
ISV Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionNET Bible
My heart is firm, God; I will sing and praise you with my whole being.1A song, a psalm of David. I am determined, O God! I will sing and praise you with my whole heart.
Awake, harp and lyre! I will wake up at dawn.2Awake, O stringed instrument and harp! I will wake up at dawn!
I will give thanks to you among the peoples, LORD! I will sing praise to you among the nations.3I will give you thanks before the nations, O LORD! I will sing praises to you before foreigners!
For your gracious love extends to the sky, and your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.4For your loyal love extends beyond the sky, and your faithfulness reaches the clouds.
May you be exalted above the heavens, God, and your glory be over all the earth.5Rise up above the sky, O God! May your splendor cover the whole earth!
In order that those you love may be rescued, deliver with your power and answer me!6Deliver by your power and answer me, so that the ones you love may be safe.
God had promised in his sanctuary: "I will triumph and divide Shechem, then I will measure the valley of Succoth!7God has spoken in his sanctuary: "I will triumph! I will parcel out Shechem, the valley of Succoth I will measure off.
Gilead and Manasseh belong to me, while Ephraim is my chief stronghold and Judah is my scepter.8Gilead belongs to me, as does Manasseh! Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my royal scepter.
Moab is my washbasin; I will fling my shoe on Edom and shout over Philistia."9Moab is my wash basin. I will make Edom serve me. I will shout in triumph over Philistia."
Who will lead me to the fortified city? Who will lead me as far as Edom?10Who will lead me into the fortified city? Who will bring me to Edom?
God, you have rejected us, have you not, since you did not march out with our army, God?11Have you not rejected us, O God? O God, you do not go into battle with our armies.
Give us help against the enemy, because human help is useless. 12Give us help against the enemy, for any help men might offer is futile.
I will find strength in God, for he will trample on our foes.13By God's power we will conquer; he will trample down our enemies.
