These were the locations of their settlements allotted as their territory (they were assigned to the descendants of Aaron who were from the Kohathite clan, because the first lot was for them):

This is a record of the towns and territory assigned by means of sacred lots to the descendants of Aaron, who were from the clan of Kohath.

These are their dwelling places according to their settlements within their borders: to the sons of Aaron of the clans of Kohathites, for theirs was the first lot,

Now these are their settlements according to their camps within their borders. To the sons of Aaron of the families of the Kohathites (for theirs was the first lot),

Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot.

These were the places assigned to Aaron's sons from the Kohathite family for their settlements in their territory, because the first lot was for them.

These are the settlement locations allotted within their borders to Aaron's descendants in the Kohathite clan since the lot was cast in their favor first.

These were the areas where Aaron's descendants lived: The following belonged to the Kohathite clan, for they received the first allotment:

These are the places where Levi's descendants lived, the places where they settled in the territory chosen for them when lots were drawn: The [first] lot was drawn for the descendants of Aaron from the family descended from Kohath.

Now these are their dwelling places throughout their palaces in their borders, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites; for theirs was the lot,
