1And He spoke a parable to them, to the [way] it is always necessary for them to pray and not be wearied out (faint, from out of bad, latin-deficere-fail roots are deficit/ deficient/ sink), 2Saying, There was a certain judge in a certain city, not fearing God and not respecting man. 3And there was a widow in that city and she was coming to him, saying, Avenge (dispense justice for) me of (away from) my adversary. 4And he would not upon a time; however afterward he said within himself, If even I do not fear God nor respect man, 5yet because this widow causes me trouble, I will avenge her, so that lest in the end her coming she may wear me out. 6And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust (unrighteous) judge says. 7And shall not God execute (do) the avenging of His elect crying to Him day and night, and is long-tempered (deferring anger) upon them? 8I say to you, that He will execute (do) their avenging in quickness. Nevertheless the Son of Man having come, will He find faith upon the earth?

9And He spoke this parable to some trusting upon themselves that they are righteous and despising (cast out as nothing, ignore, treat with contempt) the rest [of men]: 10Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11The Pharisee having stood by himself was praying thus, God, I thank you that I am not just as the rest of men, seizers (extortioners, swindlers, robbers, greek-harpages its root word is the one for rapture, latin-raptores-abductors), unrighteous, adulterers, or even like as this tax collector. 12I fast twice in week (sabbatou); I tithe all things, as many as I gain. 13And the tax collector standing afar off was not willing even to lift up his eyes unto heaven, but was striking his breast, saying, God, extend propitiation (latin-propitius) to me, the sinner! 14I say to you, This one went down unto his house justified rather than that [other]. Because everyone exalting himself will be humbled; however the one humbling himself will be exalted.

15And the brought to Him also infants (brephe, newborn babes), so that He might touch them; however the disciples having seen censured them. 16However Jesus, having called them to Him, said, Permit the little children (paidia) to come to Me and do not forbid (hinder) them; for of such is the kingdom of God. 17Truly, I say to you, whoever shall not warmly receive (welcome) the kingdom of God like as a child shall not enter into it.

18And a certain ruler asked Him, saying, Good Teacher, having done what will I inherit eternal life? 19And Jesus said to him, Why do you call Me good? No one is good, except one, God. 20You know the commandments: You should not commit adultery; you should not murder (homicide); you should not steal; you should not bear false witness; Value (honor, give honor to, assign value to) your father and mother. 21And he said, I have kept all these from my youth. 22And Jesus having heard said to him, Yet one thing is lacking to you: Sell all, as much as you have, and distribute to the poor and you will have treasure in the heavens; and come, follow Me. 23And having heard these things, he became engulfed in sorrow; for he was exceedingly rich. 24And Jesus having seen him engulfed in sorrow, said, How difficultly those having riches shall enter into the kingdom of God. 25For it is easier for a camel to enter through an eye (hole) of a needle, than a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 26And those having heard said, And who is able to be saved? 27And He said, The things that are impossible (unable) with men are possible (able) with God.

28And Peter said, Behold, we have left our own and followed You. 29And He said to them, Truly, I say to you, There is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children for the sake of the kingdom of God, 30Who shall not receive manifold (many times) more in this time; and in the age that is coming, life eternal.

31And having taken the twelve to Him, He said to them, Behold, we go up unto Jerusalem, and all things having been written of the Son of Man through the prophets will be accomplished (fulfilled, completed). 32For He will be betrayed to the ethnicities (Gentiles) and will be mocked and will be spitefully insulted and will be spit on. 33And having flogged Him, they will kill Him; and on the third day, He will rise again. 34And they understood none of these things; and this saying (rhema) was hidden from them; and they did not know what was being spoken.

35And it happened in His drawing near unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat beside the road, begging. 36And having heard a crowd passing by, he asked what this might be. 37And they reported to him, Jesus of Nazareth is passing by. 38And he called out saying, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me. 39And those going before censured him, so that he should be silent. However he cried out much more, Son of David, have mercy on me. 40And having stood still, Jesus commanded him to be brought to Him. And having drawn near, He asked pointedly of him, 41What do you want Me to do to you? And he said, Lord, that I might see again. 42And Jesus said to him, See again; your faith has saved you. 43And instantly he saw again, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people having seen it gave praise to God.
