4Sing the praises of the LORD, you his faithful people; praise his holy name. | 4Sing praises to the LORD, O you his saints, and give thanks to his holy name. | 4Sing praise to the LORD, you His godly ones, And give thanks to His holy name. | 4Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. | 4Sing to Yahweh, you His faithful ones, and praise His holy name. |
5For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. | 5For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning. | 5For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning. | 5For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. | 5For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor, a lifetime. Weeping may spend the night, but there is joy in the morning. |
6When I felt secure, I said, "I will never be shaken." | 6As for me, I said in my prosperity, “I shall never be moved.” | 6Now as for me, I said in my prosperity, "I will never be moved." | 6And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. | 6When I was secure, I said," I will never be shaken." |

9"What is gained if I am silenced, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it proclaim your faithfulness? | 9“What profit is there in my death, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it tell of your faithfulness? | 9"What profit is there in my blood, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness? | 9What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? | 9What gain is there in my death, if I go down to the Pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it proclaim Your truth? |
