Deuteronomy 9:2
Good News Translation
The people themselves are tall and strong; they are giants, and you have heard it said that no one can stand against them.

New Revised Standard Version
a strong and tall people, the offspring of the Anakim, whom you know. You have heard it said of them, “Who can stand up to the Anakim?”

Contemporary English Version
Some of these nations are descendants of the Anakim. You know how tall and strong they are, and you've heard that no one can defeat them in battle.
