Good News Translation
"When you come into the land that the LORD your God is giving you, don't follow the disgusting practices of the nations that are there.

When you come into the land that the LORD your God is giving you, you must not learn to imitate the abhorrent practices of those nations.

Soon you will go into the land that the LORD your God is giving you. The nations that live there do things that are disgusting to the LORD, and you must not follow their example.
