Jesus said to him, "Shall I come and heal him?"7And he said to him, “I will come and heal him.”7Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."7And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.7"I will come and heal him," He told him."
The centurion replied, "Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.8But the centurion replied, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed.8But the centurion said, "Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.8The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.8Lord," the centurion replied, "I am not worthy to have You come under my roof. 9For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and that one, 'Come,' and he comes. I say to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."9For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes, and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”9"For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, 'Go!' and he goes, and to another, 'Come!' and he comes, and to my slave, 'Do this!' and he does it."9For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.9For I too am a man under authority, having soldiers under my command. I say to this one, 'Go!' and he goes; and to another, 'Come!' and he comes; and to my slave, 'Do this!' and he does it."
When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, "Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.10When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those who followed him, “Truly, I tell you, with no one in Israel have I found such faith.10Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, "Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel.10When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.10Hearing this, Jesus was amazed and said to those following Him, "I assure you: I have not found anyone in Israel with so great a faith!
I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.11I tell you, many will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven,11"I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven;11And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.11I tell you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."12while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”12but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."12But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.12But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would." And his servant was healed at that moment.13And to the centurion Jesus said, “Go; let it be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very moment.13And Jesus said to the centurion, "Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed." And the servant was healed that very moment.13And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.13Then Jesus told the centurion, "Go. As you have believed, let it be done for you." And his servant was cured that very moment.

Then she got up and began to serve Him.

This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: "He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases."17This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: “He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.”17This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: "HE HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES AND CARRIED AWAY OUR DISEASES."17That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.17so that what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: He Himself took our weaknesses and carried our diseases.

Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him.23And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him.23When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.23And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.23As He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.
Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping.24And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep.24And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being covered with the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep.24And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.24Suddenly, a violent storm arose on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves. But He was sleeping.
The disciples went and woke him, saying, "Lord, save us! We're going to drown!"25And they went and woke him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing.”25And they came to Him and woke Him, saying, "Save us, Lord; we are perishing!"25And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.25So the disciples came and woke Him up, saying, "Lord, save us! We're going to die!"
He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.26And he said to them, “Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.26He said to them, "Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?" Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm.26And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.26But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, you of little faith?" Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea. And there was a great calm.
The men were amazed and asked, "What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!"27And the men marveled, saying, “What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?”27The men were amazed, and said, "What kind of a man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?"27But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!27The men were amazed and asked, "What kind of man is this?--even the winds and the sea obey Him!"

Demons Cast into Pigs

(Mark 5:1-20; Luke 8:26-39)

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.28And when he came to the other side, to the country of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men met him, coming out of the tombs, so fierce that no one could pass that way.28When He came to the other side into the country of the Gadarenes, two men who were demon-possessed met Him as they were coming out of the tombs. They were so extremely violent that no one could pass by that way.28And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.28When He had come to the other side, to the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men met Him as they came out of the tombs. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.
"What do you want with us, Son of God?" they shouted. "Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?"29And behold, they cried out, “What have you to do with us, O Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”29And they cried out, saying, "What business do we have with each other, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?"29And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?29Suddenly they shouted, "What do You have to do with us, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?"
Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding.30Now a herd of many pigs was feeding at some distance from them.30Now there was a herd of many swine feeding at a distance from them.30And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.30Now a long way off from them, a large herd of pigs was feeding. "
The demons begged Jesus, "If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs."31And the demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, send us away into the herd of pigs.”31The demons began to entreat Him, saying, "If You are going to cast us out, send us into the herd of swine."31So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.31If You drive us out," the demons begged Him, "send us into the herd of pigs."

He said to them, "Go!" So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water.32And he said to them, “Go.” So they came out and went into the pigs, and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the waters.32And He said to them, "Go!" And they came out and went into the swine, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and perished in the waters.32And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.32"Go!" He told them. So when they had come out, they entered the pigs. And suddenly the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and perished in the water.
Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men.33The herdsmen fled, and going into the city they told everything, especially what had happened to the demon-possessed men.33The herdsmen ran away, and went to the city and reported everything, including what had happened to the demoniacs.33And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.33Then the men who tended them fled. They went into the city and reported everything--especially what had happened to those who were demon-possessed.
Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they pleaded with him to leave their region.34And behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus, and when they saw him, they begged him to leave their region.34And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus; and when they saw Him, they implored Him to leave their region.34And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.34At that, the whole town went out to meet Jesus. When they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.
