Philippians 4

1Therefore, my dearly beloved and longed for brothers and sisters, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord. 2I appeal to Euodia, and Syntyche, that they become reconciled in the Lord. 3And I also ask you, true working partner, help those women who labored with me in the gospel, along with Clement, and with my other co-workers, whose names are written in the book of life.

4Rejoice in the Lord always; and I will say it, again: Rejoice. 5Let your gentleness be known to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not worry or fret about anything, but in every situation, by your prayers and supplications, with thanksgiving, let your requests be brought unto God. 7And the peace of God, which surpasses (transcends) all we can understand, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and commendable; if there is anything that has virtue, and is worthy of praise, think about those things. 9Do those things which you have learned from me, or seen me do; and the God of peace shall be with you.

10I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at the last your concern for me has again flourished; which I know you had been concerned about, but lacked the opportunity to act. 11Not that I speak out of need; for I have learned to be content, in whatever state I am. 12I know both how to be in need, and how to have plenty; I have learned the secret of being content with being both full and hungry, in abundance and in need. 13I can do all things through Christ, Who strengthens me. 14Even so, you have done well to share with me in my affliction. 15As you Philippians know, in the beginning (early days) of the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in giving and receiving, except you alone. 16For even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent more than once when I was in need. 17Not because I desire a gift; but what I desire is that it may be credited to your account. 18But right now, I have all that I need – and more! I am amply supplied by the things you sent by Epaphroditus, an offering of a sweet aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God. 19And my God shall supply all your needs according to riches of His glory by Christ Jesus. 20Now all glory be to our God and Father forever and ever. Amen.

21Greet each of God’s people in Christ Jesus. The brothers and sisters who are with me send you greetings. 22All the saints (God’s people) greet you, especially those that are part of Caesar's household. 23May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
