Authority of Christ

Colossians 1:16-17 states, "For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible... all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together." This passage affirms His preeminence and sustaining power over all creation.

2. King of Kings and Lord of Lords: Christ's sovereign rule is further emphasized in Revelation 19:16, where He is described as "King of kings and Lord of lords." This title signifies His supreme authority over all earthly and heavenly rulers, affirming His ultimate dominion.

3. Sovereign Plan of Redemption: The sovereignty of Christ is also evident in His redemptive work. Ephesians 1:9-10 reveals, "And He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to bring all things in heaven and on earth together in Christ."
