Psalms 106:32-48 ▼

32 And they caused wrath at the waters of Meribah, and it was evil to Moses on account of them.

33 For they rebelled against his spirit, and he spoke rashly with his lips.

34 They did not destroy the peoples whom YHWH had given to them the order.

35 And they mingled with the nations, and they learned their works.

36 And they served their idols, and they were to them as a snare.

37 And they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons;

38 and they shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with the blood.

39 And they were defiled by their deeds and prostituted themselves by their practices.

40 And the anger of YHWH was kindled against His people, and He came to abhor His inheritance.

41 And He gave them into the hand of the nations, and those hating them ruled over them.

42 And their enemies oppressed them, and they were humbled under their hand.

43 Many times He delivered them, and they were rebellious in their counsel, and were brought low in their iniquity.

44 And He looked on the distress to them in His hearing their cry.

45 And He remembered unto them His covenant, and He relented by the abundance of His loving devotion.

46 And He appointed them for mercies before the face of all their captors.

47 Save us, O YHWH our God, and gather us from the nations, to give thanks to the name of Your holiness, to glory in Your praise!

48 Blessed be YHWH the God of Israel from forever and even to forever. And let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise YAH!
