And the sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.

And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.

And Cush begat Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth.

He was a mighty hunter before the face of YHWH; upon thus it is said: “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the face of YHWH.”

And the beginning of his kingdom was Babylon, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

From that land he went to Assyria, and built Nineveh and Rehoboth-ir and Calah,

and Resen between Nineveh and between Calah; it is the great city.

And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

and Pathrusim, and the Casluhites (from whom the Philistines came), and the Caphtorim.

And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,

and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite. And afterward the clans of the Canaanite were scattered.

And the border of the Canaanite was from Sidon as you go toward Gerar, as far as Gaza; and as you go toward Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.

These are the sons of Ham, according to their clans, according to their languages, in their lands, in their nations.
