1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.” I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

10 no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent. no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
12 They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone. they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot. You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 “Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him. When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
